Card Appearances:Number 39: Utopia
- In Rank 4 and episode 2, Yuma Tsukumo plays this card against Ryoga Kamishiro. He overlays "Ganbara Knight" with "Gagaga Magician" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks and destroys Ryoga's "Drill Barnacle". Ryoga attacks it with his "Number 17: Leviath Dragon", but Yuma uses the effect of "Utopia" to send the overlaid "Ganbara Knight" to the Graveyard and negate the attack. Ryoga attacks it with "Jawsman", but Yuma activates his face-down "Bye Bye Damage", preventing its destruction in battle and dealing 800 damage to Ryoga. On his turn, Yuma attacks "Leviath Dragon" with this card, but negates his own attack by sending the overlaid "Gagaga Magician" to the Graveyard. This lets him activate "Double Up Chance", letting this card attack again with its ATK doubled. "Leviath" is destroyed and Yuma wins the Duel.
- In episode 3, this card is shown in Yuma's Extra Deck as he Duels Professor Ukyo. In the next episode, he Xyz Summons it by overlaying "Ganbara Knight" and "Goblindbergh". Ukyo attacks with the "Achaacha Archer" that his "Number 34: Electronic Computer-Beast Tera Byte" took control of and Yuma negates the attack by sending the overlaid "Ganbara Knight" to the Graveyard. "Tera Byte" also attacks, and Yuma sends the overlaid "Goblindbergh" to the Graveyard to negate the attack. Yuma wins the Duel by attacking directly with this card.
- In Rank 5 and episode 5, Tokunosuke Omoteura Special Summons this card from Yuma's Extra Deck via the effect of "Uratra C". It attacks and destroys Yuma's "Full Elf". It later attacks "Baby Tragon" while under the effect of "Half Unbreak". Yuma attacks directly with "Needle Swordsman" via the effect of "Baby Tragon", returning "Uratra C" and "Reverse Mist" to Tokunosuke's hand and giving Yuma control of "Leviath Dragon" and this card back. This card attacks directly to win after "Leviath Dragon" destroys "Urauutan".
- In episode 8, Yuma plays this card against Fuya Okudaira. He overlays "Gagaga Magician" and "Shadow Lizard" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks "Bestial Warrior Puman", but Fuya negates the attack by activating his face-down "Wings of Unity" and Special Summoning "Phoenix Beast Galeruda". Yuma sends both Overlay Units to the Graveyard to negate attacks by "Galeruda" and "D.D. ESPer Star Robin" during next turn. Fuya attacks it with his "D.D. Jet Iron" on the next turn, with Yuma using his face-down "Burning Fighting Spirit" to increase its ATK. He then switches "D.D. Jet Iron" to Defense Position and "Number 83: Galaxy Queen" to Attack Position with his face-down "D.D. Murder Method - Vector Change". Yuma attacks "Galaxy Queen" with "Utopia" but Fuya activates his face-down "Star Robin is Forever!", Special Summoning "D.D. ESPer Star Robin" with 0 ATK and redirecting the ATK to it. This wins Yuma the Duel.
- In episode 10, Yuma plays this card against Ryoga. He overlays "Gogogo Golem" with "Gagaga Magician" to Xyz Summon it. It attacks "Aero Shark", but Ryoga banishes the "Killer Frilled Shark" in his Graveyard to negate the attack and reduce the ATK of this card by 500. Ryoga negates all of its effects with the effect of "Black Ray Lancer", allowing that card to attack and destroy it, winning him the Duel.
- In the Japanese anime, this card's attack name is Hope Blade Slash. Its effect name is Moon Barrier.
