RE: New Feature Card[edit]

  • No need to let Deltaneos know about it popping out of nowhere to exist and begging him to shove it in Main Page - it already updating as soon as it was posted. Take a look quickly. --FredCat 23:35, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
  • That's oddly, Deltaneos actually said that its automatic updating when new Featured Card is created... maybe you must have making the URL address wrong or something... --FredCat 23:38, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
  • Ever more oddly, Rescue Rabbit's Featured Card posted almost immediate as soon as Runer5h created it and just before Deltaneos got chance to respond - he mentioned that it automatic updated when he went looking. --FredCat 23:46, February 18, 2012 (UTC)

Fulhelm-armed![edit]

Just look at first two paragraph of lore, am I doing it right? If not, just tell me what should I word it up? --FredCat 13:44, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

Alright, thank you for a lecture, I am going to put it up... in my own style ;-) --FredCat 14:07, April 7, 2012 (UTC)
Also, I left your lore alone in the other article. --FredCat 14:12, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

RE: Errata Editor[edit]

Not sure who it was; it's red-linked User that just took over when I was lesser activation when I marked myself retired. It maybe hard to find that user during the same date... if you're expert at searching, you can find him at that time I "retired" from errata editor. --FredCat 16:40, April 7, 2012 (UTC)

Return from the Different Dimension Errata'd[edit]

What do you think? I made it after saw you post a comment in that article about the certain card. If you wish to help, you're welcome to put them up in my original article of Errata that such to be reprinted and the like. Once you do, just PM me and I will italic them; no worry - I can take care of them easily as pie. --FredCat 02:09, April 9, 2012 (UTC)

I am just ask you if that's what you were such to meaning - Since many users and duelists would most likely confused of what "Return from the Different Dimension" meant when to banish the monsters from the field or in the Graveyard after they were used. That's why I asked you. If you wish to give me correct updating lore - just post them in my original version (the one with no "joke" in link, unlike above one; if you need to find it, go to that link, return to it original address [like not in preview mode] then hit "return to research" and click on line above "FredCat's Real Errata") then I will italic the difference if that ok with you. --FredCat 11:34, April 9, 2012 (UTC)
Saw that coming - already post it as soon as you post your link up ;-) And yes, I have a cat instinct that can sense all over the place. --FredCat 11:40, April 9, 2012 (UTC)
It is not only thing I am aware - I just sense it since I am doing mult-tasking around the iMac now. I am also writing- I meant, rewriting the chapter with improving grammar and other stuffs. This is not only site I am busying on. Here's a summary of why I had a Cat Instinct... no seriously, it's true story. I just never confirmed it till very recently and decided to exhausting it out. --FredCat 11:46, April 9, 2012 (UTC)

Glitch Strike again![edit]

Look like you're not get this kind of problem before, I just posted it and it came to that just like that. At least I informed Dino about that beforehand since he knew what to do with it. It's not like we begged him to do anything... --FredCat 16:19, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

Featured Article[edit]

Look like someone disagreed with you about the tip of "Inzektor" being workable with "Machina Fortress", can you mind check it out? I just fixed the the Discussion article on the way to here. --FredCat 21:42, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

Sure, let's hope he think twice about using wrong place to respond. I went and informed him about your respond. --FredCat 22:56, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

Close on age...[edit]

Yes, that was guessing - but I am older than half of his age; I am now 24, not 21 anymore. Also he didn't see the fact that the list he gave had no "Counter Trap Cards" named there... No "Divine Wrath", no "Solemn Judgment", ever no "Herald of Trap Light" showing there. They are all Spell Speed 2 or lower Trap Cards. :\ --FredCat 00:22, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

Geargiganto X[edit]

I'm sorry you took my editing of your article personally, but that was not my intent. I made the change and left the message on the article's Talk Page under Deltaneos' direction, so speak to him about it as well. I assure you that when I spoke about the "offending part" I never meant personal offence; I meant that it was offending the mechanics of the game (like an off-side offence in soccer) in that the effect of Inzektor Hornet has nothing to fear from Machina Fortress. I also did not "go on some spree". I simply entered the IRC channel and asked a question about the article, having had no idea who it is that writes them, and was directed to the talk page and to make the edit by Deltaneos. I'm not blaming him, just stating that you should perhaps ensure that he directs people to you, not to your articles. Shamus (talkcontribs) 14:13, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

  • Well then, now I know for the future. Sorry again. Shamus (talkcontribs) 14:31, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

Swords on Staples[edit]

I'm sorry, but I simply do not understand how swords of revealing light is not a staple. It is semi-limited and about 90% of duelists use them.(Meklordsa5m (talkcontribs) 18:43, April 16, 2012 (UTC))

Just because you don't use it doesn't mean that no one else uses it. I did 5 duels on dueling network today. All of them used it. Some twice. (Meklordsa5m (talkcontribs) 18:44, April 16, 2012 (UTC))

I'll tell you one thing though, i have been on Dueling network for a long time and i have never seen anyone use book of moon. I very rarely see someone use pot of duality either. If you don't accept swords, then I don't see how you can put on book of moon. (Meklordsa5m (talkcontribs) 18:51, April 16, 2012 (UTC))

FYI I do face good players with ranks higher than 500. And you just said on the first comment that staples are what all people use in virtually any deck. So if you think that it is not based on how many people use it, you got to go and check your first comment. (Meklordsa5m (talkcontribs) 18:57, April 16, 2012 (UTC))

i might just say the same thing to you. (Meklordsa5m (talkcontribs) 19:03, April 16, 2012 (UTC))

Idiocy Article (Red Link)[edit]

Hey, I just checked your article that you just updated - of course, like you scowled at Lord Geo about my advice for not bother his article if he created for himself. I only want to let you know that "Trololol" link is broken or something... It's in fact is not existence right now. --FredCat 02:01, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Interesting... At least I learned by asking without bug you off, hm? --FredCat 09:47, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
Yea, I am not same as LordGeo - being "butthead" and stuffs like that; I adapted quickly as time passed. And lucky, I got a daughter that helped me to understand the whole human stuffs I had missing in my own insanity... So let's hope LordGeo heard my advice and going to create his own articles one day... maybe that could relief the whole issues on Wikia between you and him. So had you reading the chapter I posted not so long ago? (Silent Story Ch2) --FredCat 14:14, April 19, 2012 (UTC)
I do understand that you were right about "Maxx "C"" being worth in Exodia Deck against the deck that seemed to taking forever to complete the loop (Such as Infernity) - the major point was once they see it drop, they can, for half of the time, stop the loop. The other half are bunch of new player or the duelist that didn't know how it work at first.
Here you go, friend. As I reflected my insanity since that event happened; it pretty much summary anything I recalled. So good luck and take your time read it. --FredCat 14:26, April 19, 2012 (UTC)

Re:Priority[edit]

Priority refers to who has the right to activate an effect at a given time. This includes things like when you are entering a different phase of the turn. The page needs to be rewritten with better examples. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 21:56, April 25, 2012 (UTC)

Well, if it no longer exists, then I guess determining the order in which effects resolve in the End Phase just got more complicated. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 22:00, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Well, try "Trigger Priority" then. That does exist! --iFredCat 22:01, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Okay, but it doesn't say that all priority is gone. Just Ignition priority. Most of what it talks about describes how priority already works. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 22:05, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Then the page should be renamed and completely rewritten. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 22:09, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, actually. I agree that a new page should just be made from scratch. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 22:13, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Also, I should have payed more attention, because in the thread on Pojo, Kevin Tewart pretty much said that the "P-Word" will not be used anymore. My bad. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 22:21, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Most likely. If I see anyone messing it up, I'll fix it. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 22:27, April 25, 2012 (UTC)

Redirects[edit]

Remember way, way back, before the 17th of April? Before you became a mover and could suppress redirects? Well, the vast majority of users still can't. :) --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 22:02, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

You asked in your edit summary for Absorbing Jar's Art Gallery why people leave redirects. They leave them because they have to. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 22:06, April 26, 2012 (UTC)
All of us have left our fair share of work for the Admins to clean up in the past due to that. But it couldn't be helped, so I doubt they bear any ill will towards us. We new movers just have to work fast, before anyone without mover rights gets to the pages. :) --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 22:13, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

A little advice: You should leave the redirect when you move the main card page. -- The Goblin  I'm feelin' the flow  23:35, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, leave the main card page's redirect. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 22:04, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
In the event that you misname a card, suppress the move to the proper name, but make sure to fix all redirects that link to the wrong name. They'll be linking to nothing. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 22:13, April 29, 2012 (UTC)

Flelf[edit]

Let's talk about Full Elf, now renamed Flelf. I can quite see why you denied my edit for the trivia of that card. Flelf is a WIND-Attribute monster and "Fl" are the first two letters in the word "fly". But first think about the Blackwings; just because they are not WIND monsters doesn't mean they can't fly. Point is, WIND Attribute monsters have the ability to fly, so what make you think Flelf can't fly?--70.188.151.10 (talk) 10:21, May 3, 2012 (UTC) 70.188.151.10

He first looked down at me once I argued with him about Sonic the Hedgehog Issue 237 and I removed his rude comment but he just undid my undoing not once nor twice, thrice, and ever think that I am newbie compare to his godly power. He don't know that each user have their rights to banishing the bad comment like his own (since he ride a godly high horse) from their own "Talk Page"; like Delta or Blue once told me a while ago, I don't recalled quite well... There is nothing to suggest they are the same card. Yami Yugi called Rebirth "Reincarnation" in episode 193, but that sort of thing happens all the time. Retirement from Featured Card article writing[edit]

Hey Yami, you're positive you no longer want to write Featured Card articles, right? What I've been hoping is that the wikia could start being more consistent with them, ideally making a new one on the first of each month. The perfect card to write about for September, IMO, is "Tsukuyomi". It's been banned for quite some time, and reminding players about how dangerous it once was would be good. I'm probably not the best for writing this, so I'll make a call on the Forum if you're not up for it. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 14:26, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

It's really funny that you should mention that, actually, because I'm in the middle of writing a new one right now. I never really retired, exactly - it was more of a break because I wasn't that interested in the game at the time. That being said, I won't always want to write Featured Card articles, especially not on a regular basis due to other commitments, and my interest really depends on how much I'm playing the game at the time. So, I wouldn't mind if you wanted to set-up a group of people who could have a rotation for writing the Featured Card articles. I also wouldn't mind being involved in that group. As for "Tsukuyomi", I considered him, but I decided that there wouldn't be that much to write about in terms of being relevant to the upcoming format. I'm not really a big advocator of "Tsukuyomi" myself, either, but if anyone else wants to write one for like, next month or something, that's up to them. All I ask is that it be of an acceptable standard.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 14:32, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
Well that's good, I look forward to reading your next one. I saw your suggestions to the current one's author, perhaps if I choose to write the October's I can consult you before posting it. I suppose this will give "Tsukuyomi" a month to show off some new tricks, anyway. Also, do you think you could wait until the 1st to post your new one? I just really like the idea of "standardizing" their creation dates.
I also lurk at NeoArk and see they have card of the day writers. Since we're trying to work closer with them now, perhaps they'd be interested in this. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 14:47, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
Sure, I'll be happy to wait until September the 1st to post it. And my thoughts exactly on "Tsukuyomi". Personally, I think that at this moment in time, it doesn't have much going for it, besides being able to run over "Thunder King Rai-Oh" and force a "Evolzar Laggia" negation. After a month, we'll be able to see exactly what it can do in the upcoming format. I'd be happy to offer any advice, but since you've suggested this, I've decided I want to pull away from being controlling about the Featured Card articles. I've been doing them for a long time now, so I felt somewhat protective of them, but at the end of the day, they aren't my property, so I'm gonna try to not bitch about someone writing about a card I disagree with again, unless it's really dumb, like, IDK, "Uraby". As for NeoArk, yeah, they have good people there. I'd support the decision to extend the invitation.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 14:53, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
