Card Tips:Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude
- This card can be searched by "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Painful Escape", "Ties of the Brethren", "Broken Blocker", "Destiny Signal", "Red Sparrow Summoner", "Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior", "Field-Commander Rahz", "Freed the Matchless General", "Dark General Freed", "Reinforcement of the Army", "Resonator Engine", "Summoner Monk", "Soul Rope", "Vampire Dragon", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Mystic Tomato", "Chaos Zone", "Masked HERO Dian", "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist", "Creeping Darkness", "Gaia, the Mid-Knight Sun" and "Exchange of Night and Day".
- Use "Convulsion of Nature" or "Fruits of Kozaky's Studies" to know exactly which the next card of your Deck is and activate the effect of this card at the proper time.
- Since costs and activation requirements are not paid, or do not have to be met, using cards such as "Destiny Draw" or "Magical Stone Excavation" or "The Beginning of the End" will get yourself free cards, and cards such as "Lightning Vortex" or "Tribute to the Doomed" will destroy the opponent's monsters without needing to discard. "Primal Seed" also works, even without "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" in your Deck.
- Also, the effects of most monster-specific and cost-effective cards can be activated:
- "Earthbound Whirlwind" without an "Earthbound Immortal".
- "Ojama Delta Hurricane!!" without the "Ojamas".
- "Wrath of Neos" without "Elemental HERO Neos".
- "Des Croaking" without the "Des Frogs".
- "The Law of the Normal" without having 5 Level 2 or lower Normal Monsters on the field.
- "Short Circuit" without "Batterymen".
- "Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation" with less "Harpies" than required.
- "Mega Ton Magical Cannon" with no Spell Counters.
- "Dark Magic Attack" or "Thousand Knives" without "Dark Magician".
- "Bonding - H2O" without "Oxygeddon" and "Hydrogeddon".
- "Burst Stream of Destruction" without "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- "Crystal Abundance" without sending 4 "Crystal Beasts" to the Graveyard.
- "Pot of Duality" and still be able to Special Summon that turn.
- "Hidden Armory" to gather an Equip Card and get a Summon right away.
- "Stray Lambs" to bring 2 Tokens for the Tribute Summon of a Level 7 or higher monster.
- "Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One" without a very specific timing. Although its effect can only be used once per Duel.
- "Soul Charge" and still be able to conduct your Battle Phase that turn, though 1000 LP will still be lost for each monster Summoned.
- "Final Inzektion" without sending "Inzektors", and with the added bonus that the opponent is stopped from using certain effects in the Battle Phase.
- Also, the effects of most monster-specific and cost-effective cards can be activated:
- Use practical Normal Spells like "Lightning Vortex" with a cost/activation requirement that's possible to fulfill in your Deck, so that you hand doesn't get stuck if is is drawn. For example, "Destiny Draw" provides a Draw Engine while "The Beginning of the End" draws you 3 cards with no further costs.
- "Summoner Monk" can help you discard Normal Spells, so that "Magical Stone Excavation" may be used via this monster's effect later to recover them.
- Use with "Pot of Benevolence" to keep recycling your Normal Spell Cards. If "Pot of Benevolence" is sent to the Graveyard by "Diamond Dude", it will not be banished as it is already in the Graveyard. This also means "Pot of Benevolence" can even be recycled with its own effect.
- Get the cards that is needed on top of your Deck with "A Feather of the Phoenix", "Archfiend's Oath", "Big Eye", "Spellbook Organization", "Plaguespreader Zombie" and "Raiza the Storm Monarch".
- This card combines well with Spells that can search for monsters, such as "Reinforcement of the Army", since those will let yourself use fewer Monster Cards in your Deck (and therefore more Spells, increasing the chance of using it successfully) and will generate guaranteed card advantage when pulled with its ability.
- Up to 2 "Ancient Gear Golems" (1 from your hand and/or 1 Deck) can be Special Summoned if "Spell Gear" is send without sending 3 "Ancient Gear" cards.
- "Phantasmal Martyrs" can Special Summon 3 "Phantasmal Martyr Tokens", without requiring "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" or "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" or sending your hand to the Graveyard, which can be used for the Special Summon of "Destiny HERO - Plasma" or Destiny HERO - Dogma" (in the latter case, 2 of these Tokens along with "Diamond Dude" would be used).
- If the Spell Cards that was to be used in conjunction with this card is accidentally drawn, they can discard with "A Feather of the Phoenix" (provided is is activated from your hand and not using this card's effect) and then place them back on the top of your Deck immediately afterwards. There must be at least 1 other card in your Graveyard to perform this.
