Yu-Gi-Oh!
- This card's anime and manga lore was: "Activate only when your opponent Normal Summons or Sets a Defense Position monster. When this card is activated, flip all face-down Defense Position monsters on your opponent's side of the Field face-up. While this card is face-up on the Field, your opponent's Defense Position monsters cannot change their Battle position or activate any effect(s). When an opponent's Defense Position monster is destroyed by battle, inflict damage to that monster's controller equal to half of its original DEF.".
- In episode 36 and chapter 68, Maximillion Pegasus plays this card against Yami Yugi. It was activated in response to Yami setting a monster. This card then flipped it into Face-up Defense Position and it revealed that the set card was "Horn Imp". When "Toon Summoned Skull" destroyed "Horn Imp", this card's other effect inflicted half of "Horn Imp"'s DEF as damage to Yami Yugi. In the next episode, this card was still Face-Up on the Field and still continued to cause some problems for Yami Yugi since it forced him to play his monsters in Attack Position. This problem remained until part-way through the episode, in which it disappeared without explanation although Yugi using "Living Arrow" to copy "Magical Neutralizing Force"'s effect might have contributed to this card's destruction.
- In episode 66, this card appears in Kaiba's briefcase before he closes it.
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
- In episode 12, this card appears floating in the water after Chazz Princeton throws some of Bastion Misawa's cards into it.
- In episode 92, Pegasus removes this card from the top of his Deck from play via the effect of "Toon Kingdom". This protects his "Toon Dark Magician Girl" from destruction by Jean-Louis Bonaparte's "Toy Emperor".
