• This card can be searched via "Sangan" and "Witch of the Black Forest".

• Tsukuyomi Abuse centers around the monster "Tsukuyomi", and it revolves around using his ability to flip Monster Cards face-down, allowing their effects to be re-used. Examples:
  • Flipping up "Mask of Darkness", and returning "Time Seal" to your hand. Then set Time Seal and continuously do this in a loop to prevent your opponent from drawing any new cards.
• Flipping up "Magician of Faith", and returning one of the following to your hand:
  • "Smashing Ground" or "Fissure", to get rid of face-up Monsters.
  • "Creature Swap" to take one of your opponent's Monsters while giving them "Tsukoyomi" (which returns to your hand anyway).
  • "Mystical Space Typhoon", to destroy Spells and Traps.
  • "Nobleman of Crossout", to remove face-down Monsters.
  • "Swords of Revealing Light", to prevent your opponent from attacking.
• This allows singular cards to be removed so that "Tsukuyomi" can be summoned, flipping "Magician of Faith" face-down, and enabling "Tsukuyomi" to attack directly. This combo will not let your opponent attack you. To add on to this combo, you can use "Needle Worm's" effect along with "Tsukuyomi" to make your opponent lose all the cards in his/her deck, thus making your opponent lose.
  • Flipping up "Old Vindictive Magician"/"Man-Eater Bug", destroying an opponent's monster, and then summoning "Tsukuyomi", flipping "Old Vindictive Magician" face-down, and enabling "Tsukuyomi" to attack directly.

• Using "Tsukuyomi" with "Thousand-Eyes Restrict"
  • This combo allows you to use the effect of "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" each turn to turn a monster into an equip card, then use "Tsukuyomi" to flip "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" face down to destroy the monster that has become an equipped card. This combo is now dead in the Advanced Format as of September 1st 2006.

• This and the other Spirit Monsters can easily counter "Light and Darkness Dragon"'s effect. Since returning Spirit monsters to the hand during the End Phase is obligatory, "Light and Darkness Dragon" will negate it again and again until his ATK is too low.

• Some Higher level monsters will have a lower defense, an example would be "Dark Armed Dragon" you can use "Tsukuyomi"'s effect to put him into defense position and destroy him.

• This card can create an attack lockdown with the following cards. "Ultimate Offering", "The Dark Door", and "Spirit's Invitation".

• This card works well in Wind-Up decks, allowing their effects to be reused.
