- This card can be searched with "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Flying Kamakiri #1", "Lonefire Blossom", "Botanical Girl" and "Violet Witch".
- This card can simplify the process required to conduct Synchro Summons.
- This card can be quickly Special Summoned with "Seed of Deception" or with "One for One".
- Using this monster, in conjunction with "Junk Warrior" and "The Calculator" can make a devastating combination.
- Use this card on a Level 3 Plant-Type monster,and you have a total of 6 level, allowing you to summon "Queen of Thorns".
- Since this card copies the level of another monster on the field, the total levels of the two monsters will be even. If you wish to Synchro Summon a monster that has an odd-numbered level, like Black Rose Dragon (level 7), use Noisy Gnat or Silent Strider to adjust the levels of the monsters on the field.
- This card is deadly when combined with "Lonefire Blossom". You can copy Lonefire Blossom's Level with this card, and then Special Summon either "Lord Poison" or "Botanical Girl" and perform a Synchro Summon for either "Black Rose Dragon" or "Queen of Thorns", respectively. Also another combo is to use Lonefire Blossom's effect to get a level 4 plant for example Botanical Lion and bring Lonefire back with Call Of The Haunted or another card that brings back from the graveyard. Then use its effect again and bring out a Copy Plant, use its effect on the Level 4 plant and you get an easy Level 8 Synchro Summon
- Use Copy Plant without activating it's copying level effect in combination with Gigaplant to Syncro Summon Black Rose Dragon easier.
- Use this card with "DNA Surgery" to copy the level of any monster you want.
