• In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 4, Yusei Summons "Quillbolt Hedgehog" in Defense Position. Jack destroys it with "Mad Archfiend". Yusei laters revives "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with its effect and sends it and "Junk Synchron" to the Graveyard to Synchro Summon "Junk Warrior".

• In episode 11, Yusei Summons this in Defense Position. Ushio attacked and destroyed it with "Search Striker" on his turn. On Yusei's next turn he revives it with "Junk Synchron's" effect. He then attempts to Synchro Summon "Junk Warrior", but Ushio plays "Discord Counter". Next turn, Ushio destroyed "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with "Pursuit Chaser".

• In episode 12, Yusei revives it with its effect and later plays "Urgent Tuning" so he could use "Turbo Synchron", "Sonic Chick", "Quillbolt Hedgehog" and "Speed Warrior" to Summon "Turbo Warrior".

• In the English dub of episode 13, this card was featured in Yusei's flashback on low-level monsters.

• In episode 17, Yusei Special Summoned "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with "Speed Spell - Summon Speeder". It got destroyed when Mukuro played "Speed Spell - The End of Storm". Yusei later Summoned "Nitro Synchron" and revived "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with its own effect. Following this, he played "Give and Take" to Special Summon "Junk Synchron" from his Graveyard to Mukuro's field and add its Level to "Quillbolt Hedgehog's". He then used "Quillbolt Hedgehog" and "Nitro Synchron" to Synchro Summon" "Nitro Warrior".

• In episode 28, Yusei used "One for One", discarding "Quillbolt Hedgehog" to Special Summon "Sonic Chick". he Special Summoned "Quillbolt Hedgehog" after Summoning "Nitro Synchron". He used them along with "Speed Warrior" to Synchro Summon "Nitro Warrior".

• In episode 45, Yusei Fudo Summoned this and used "One for One", discarding "Quillbolt Hedgehog", and Special Summoning "Tuningware". He used "Quillbolt Hedgehog's" effect to revive itself and used the three monsters to Synchro Summon" "Road Warrior".

• In episode 86 Yusei discard his Quillbolt Hedgehog to Special Summon his Quickdraw Synchron since he has a Tuner Monster this card gets Special Summon from his Graveyard. He tuned with Quickdraw Synchron with this card to Synchro Summon Nitro Warrior against 3 Crash Town duelist.
