- In the manga, "Kairyu-Shin" was used by Mako Tsunami and was known as "Levaithan".
- "Kairyu-Shin" could turn the field into a Sea when it is Summoned (i.e. "Umi" or "A Legendary Ocean").
Anime[edit]
- In episode 7, Mako Tsunami uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. This card then gains a Field Power Bonus from the ocean field.
