Yu-Gi-Oh!

• In the anime, the Monster becomes a Machine-Type Monster.
• Johnny Steps used this card in his duel with Yugi. He activates it when "Curse of Dragon" attacks "Musician King". He then equips this card to "Musician King", transforming him into "Heavy Metal King"(as well as giving him 300 more ATK and DEF. This then causes the attack to backfire, destroying "Curse of Dragon". When "Heavy Metal King" attacks "Giant Soldier of Stone", this card increases the ATK of "Heavy Metal King" by half the ATK of "Giant Soldier of Stone" during Damage Calculation only. He gained a slight lead thanks to this card, but he forgot that Metalmorph's secondary effect only activates when the equipped monster attacks. Yugi destroys "Heavy Metal King" with his "Dark Magician" due to that. Since "Heavy Metal King" was destroyed, this card was destroyed as well. From this episode onward, it was called by its TCG name and had the real card's effect.
• This card was later used by Joey in the Waking the Dragons arc during his Duel against Rex Raptor. He equips it to "Red-Eyes Black Dragon", increasing its ATK and DEF by 300. When "Red-Eyes" attacked "Horned Saurus", this card increases the ATK of "Red-Eyes" by half the ATK of "Horned Saurus" during Damage Calculation only. This card is later destroyed when "Tyrant Dragon" destroys "Red-Eyes". It appeared as an Alternate Art card in this sense.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

• In Episode 24 of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, the Czar uses this card during his duel with Chazz Princeton. He equips it to "Zoa". He then tributes it to Special Summon "Metalzoa".
