Yu-Gi-Oh!

  • In the anime and manga, this card does not require a payment of 2000 Life Points to remain on the Field. Monsters do not lose their attack points until they actually attack, at which point this card also negates the attack.

Duelist Kingdom

  • When Mai duels Yami Yugi, Mai activates this card when Yugi's "Gaia The Fierce Knight" attacks Mai's "Harpie Lady". This causes Yugi's attack to be negated and also causes "Gaia the Fierce Knight"'ATK to be halved. This lets Mai use "Harpie Lady" (equipped with "Cyber Shield") to destroy "Gaia The Fierce Knight". Yugi then attacked "Harpie Lady" with "Summoned Skull, but Yugi was unaware that this card remains on the Field. As a result, the attack he made was negated and his "Summoned Skull" got its ATK halved. "Summoned Skull" was then later destroyed by "Harpie's Pet Dragon". When Yugi attempts to play defensively, Mai uses "Shadow of Eyes" to force Yugi's "Dark Magician" into Attack Position and force it to attack, causing this card's effect to activate in response, negating the attack and halving "Dark Magician"'s ATK. This lets "Harpie's Pet Dragon" destroy "Dark Magician" shortly after.[1] Yugi later destroys this card by tributing "Harpie's Pet Dragon" (after taking control of it via "Brain Control") for the effect of "Catapult Turtle".[2]

Legendary Heroes

Battle City

  • Mai sets this card during her Duel against Jean-Claude Magnum, but she doesn't activate it as she wins the Duel without using it.

Virtual World

  • When Téa Gardner duels Crump, two copies of this card are seen. The first copy is seen when Téa is selecting the cards for her Deck though she doesn't select it. The second copy is set by Crump, but it's destroyed by Téa's "Mystical Space Typhoon" before he could activate it, but Crump uses this card's destruction to activate "Driving Snow" which he then used to destroy Téa's face-down "Mirror Force".[5]

Waking the Dragons

  • When Mai duels an unknown duelist, Mai activates this card when the duelist's "Tri-Horned Dragon" attacks Mai's "Cyber Harpie Lady". This in turn halves the ATK of "Tri-Horned Dragon", but the opponent then uses "Rush Recklessly" in an attempt to make "Tri-Horned Dragon" strong enough to destroy "Cyber Harpie Lady", but Mai activates "Fairy's Hand Mirror" to transfer the attack bonus to "Cyber Harpie Lady". This allows "Cyber Harpie Lady" to counterattack and destroy "Tri-Horned Dragon", winning Mai the duel.[6]
  • This card was in Mai's hand during her third Duel with Joey. It drops from her hand right when she rushes over to Joey who had lost the Duel due to exhaustion.
