- In episode 1, Yuya Sakaki plays this card in his Action Duel against The Sledgehammer. He Tributes "Performapal Hip Hippo", which is treated as two tributes for a Tribute Summon by its own effect, in order to tribute summon this card. This card attacks "Battleguard King", which has 0 ATK due to the effect of Yuya's "Wonder Balloons" but Sledgehammer activates the Action Card "Miracle" which negates the destruction of "Battleguard King" and halves the Battle Damage from 2500 to 1250. Since Sledgehammer took Battle Damage he activates "Battleguard Rage" increasing the ATK of "Battleguard King" by 2000, from 0 to 2000. At the End Phase the effect of "Wonder Balloon" ends increasing the ATK of "Battleguard King" by 3000, from 2000 to 5000. Later this card is attacked by "Battleguard King" but due to the effect of "Battleguard Rage", this card returns to the hand. Since it returned to the hand, Sledgehammer activates "Battleguard Magic" gaining Life Points equal to the half the ATK of this card, which is 1250, so Sledgehammer's Life Points increase from 2750 to 4000. Later this card is transformed into "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", becoming a Pendulum Monster by Yuya's pendant.
- In episode 2, this card appears in a flashback when Yuya (mistakenly) thinks that he needs to be in a pinch in order to Pendulum Summon.
