Toon monster Rulings

OCG Rulings

  • If "Toon World" and "Gagaga Shield" are destroyed by the effect of "Icarus Attack", after the effect of "Icarus Attack" has finished resolving the effect "If "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card" of "Toon Gemini Elf" immediately applies, and "Toon Gemini Elf" itself is destroyed as a result. Also, if "Toon World" and "Gagaga Shield" are destroyed by "Judgment Dragon", because "Toon World" was destroyed, the effect of "Toon Gemini Elf" immediately applies, and "Toon Gemini Elf" itself is destroyed as a result.[15]
  • If the activation of a Spell Card is negated and destroyed by "Magic Jammer", it is not treated as being destroyed on the field. Therefore, even if the activation of "Toon World" is negated and destroyed, Toon monsters like "Toon Mermaid" are not destroyed by their own effect. (If the activation of "Toon Kingdom" is negated and destroyed, since its name is not treated as "Toon World", Toon monsters like "Toon Mermaid" are not destroyed by their own effect.)[18]
