- This card's potential is virtually limitless, as more than 1 copy can be used in a turn, and the "Metal Fiend Tokens" generated by this card can be used for Tributes (whether Tribute Summoning or for another effect), Ritual Summons, or Synchro Summons.
- As the token is dark, it can be tributed (along with another monster, like "Treeborn Frog" or "Reborn Tengu") to tribute summon "Caius the Mega Monarch" allowing you to use that monster's full potential.
- You can use "Mist Body" in tandem with cards like "Dark Spirit of the Silent," "Call of the Earthbound," "Patrician of Darkness," "Staunch Defender," and "Battle Mania" to generate as much Battle Damage to your opponent from your Tokens as possible.
- You can also double the damage with cards like "An Unfortunate Report."
- On top of that, you could equip the "Raregold Armor"Equip Spell Card to the Fiend Token, and then play both "Final Attack Orders" and "Battle Mania" Trap Cards, in order to force your opponent to attack upon the Fiend Token, and take damages against his/her Life Points, while leaving yourself absolutely unscathed and unharmed indeed.
- The effect of "General Raiho of the Ice Barrier" cannot negate the effect of the "Metal Fiend Token" generated by "Fiend's Sanctuary."
- This card is useful with "Number C39: Utopia Ray" if it stays on the field long enough to get your life points down to 1000 or less.
