- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Magician's Circle", "Arnis, the Empowered Warrior", "Dragodeus, the Empowered Warrior", "Spellbook Star Hall", "The Grand Spellbook Tower", "Mother Grizzly" and "Chaos-End Master".
- For an emergency defense, you can summon Fog King without tributes, and play Zerozerock. If your opponent's deck relies heavily on tributes, like Hieratic decks, this stall strategy will also hurt them a lot.
- This card is ideal in any Beatdown Deck.
- Use cards that normally have high ATK, but have lower ATK when Summoned a certain way, to Tribute Summon this card. Such examples include "Beast King Barbaros" and "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast".
- Special Summon "Rocket Arrow Express" and Tribute it to Summon this card.
- This card can be retrieved from the Graveyard with "Salvage".
- "Turbo Synchron" can easily Special Summon this card from your hand, to be used for a Level 8 Synchro Summon.
- Use "Urgent Tuning" to immediately Synchro Summon during the same Battle Phase you you the effect of "Turbo Synchron".
- Special Summon this card via the effect of "Debris Dragon" or "Masked Chameleon", then Synchro Summon "Star Eater".

- This card can be searched by "Spellbook of Judgment", "Sangan", "Last Will" and "Witch of the Black Forest".
- If your opponent summons a "Grinder Golem" or "Lava Golem" to your side of the field, Tribute it to get a 3000 ATK monster (more if you already have a monster on the field). This will save a lot of hassle, especially if they're planning on using a combo like "Ring of Destruction" to inflict massive damage.
