• Use this card on your Defense Position monster. This will allow that monster to protect your Life Points during the whole turn.

• If you are using a Deck with "Royal Decree", this is one of very few cards that will allow you to respond to "Honest", which is usually played in the Damage Step. Your monster will survive unless the other monster's ATK was initially higher, in which case your opponent wouldn't need to use "Honest".
  • Or, you can chain this card to "Honest"'s effect to save your monster from destruction.

• This card can be useful with Gladiator Beasts, as you can prevent their destruction by battle, then "tag out" for an appropriate answer to your opponent's threat, like "Gladiator Beast Murmillo".

• "Mist Valley Soldier", "Legendary Jujitsu Master", "Hyper Hammerhead" and "Wall of Illusion" are good examples of monsters that can use this card well.
  • Combo those cards with "Battle Mania" if your opponent has more than 1 monster to ensure all of them will be returned to the hand.
    • In a Naturia deck, use this card with "Battle Mania", "Naturia Beans" and "Naturia Mosquito" to inflict massive damage to your opponent.

• Use this card in a Reptilianne Deck. "Reptilianne Gorgon" is especially effective with this card.

• Use this card to halve the ATK of an opponent's Attack-Position monster, then inflict Battle Damage through that monster without needing to battle other opposing monsters.
  • If you combine this with a combo that can put a lot of ATK points on the field (for example, "Level Eater" + "Quickdraw Synchron" + "Inferno Reckless Summon" + "The Calculator"), it's possible to create a OTK.

• Use this card with "Tyrant Dragon", halve the ATK of an opponent's Attack-Position monster and attack it twice.

• Use this card to OTK with "Chimeratech Overdragon" if you can't get enough Machines in the Graveyard to win with one attack.

• Combine this card with "Staunch Defender" and choose a (hopefully Defense-Position) "Moon Dragon Quilla" to ensure large gains in Life Points.

• Use this card with "Great Poseidon Beetle" or "Vision HERO Trinity" to inflict heavy damage to your opponent's Life Points and create a possible OTK. The same goes with Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, in this case, you can use Photon Sanctuary to generate tributable tokens for this card's multi-Attack effect.

• Use on "Amazoness Swords Woman" to deal excessive damage to the opponent, while preventing "Amazoness Swords Woman" from being destroyed by battle.

• This card is a good defense for "Monk Fighter" and other monsters who don't take Battle Damage.

• This is a great defensive card if you use it on your defense position monster it won't be destroyed by battle if you use it on a opponents monster they take battle damage the only downside is the monster won't be destroyed but can still stall for time.
