Card Tips:Machina Armored Unit
- Except for "Ancient Gear Golem" and "Ancient Gear Beast", this card can summon any of the "Ancient Gear" monsters.
- This card is exceptionally powerful in "Gadget" decks. When a "Gadget" is destroyed, you can Special Summon another one and use its effect to add yet another "Gadget" to your hand, netting you massive card advantage.
- This card can help gather "VWXYZ" monsters.
- This card can be used to easily summon "Satellite Cannon".
- This card can help maintain a "Cyber Dragon" on your side of the field. "Cyber Dragon" -> "Cyber Dragon Zwei" -> "Proto-Cyber Dragon".
- This card can aid Synchro Summoning as you can Special Summon monsters of high level but low ATK like "Woodborg Inpachi" and "UFOroid".
- You can also summon Tuners like most "Synchrons" and "Black Salvo".
- This card works well in a Vehicroid deck. "Steamroid" -> "Drillroid" -> "Truckroid" -> "Expressroid" (searching out Expressroid is especially useful to increase your card advantage).
- Use this card with Machine-type Recruiters, such as "Cyber Larva", "UFO Turtle" and "UFOroid". Also, use it with "Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive" to draw a card as well.
- You can summon "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" without tribute. And when it is destroyed you may summon a monster below 2800 ATK.
- This strategy makes it useful in Summoning "Ally of Justice" monsters, since it only counts their Attribute in the Graveyard, so you can use "DNA Transplant", and still Summon a DARK Machine-Type monster with less than 2800 ATK.
- This card loop through members of the "Gun Dragon" Archetype for many opportunities to destroy opponent's cards. "Gatling Dragon"/"Barrel Dragon" -> "Blowback Dragon" -> "Twin-Barrel Dragon".
- Support the Reactor deck using this card. "Summon Reactor・SK" -> "Spell Reactor・RE" -> "Trap Reactor・Y FI" -> "Black Salvo".
- Use this card while you have "Karakuri Soldier mdl 236 "Nisamu"", then after he's destroyed summon "Karakuri Strategist mdl 248 "Nishipachi"" and another Nisamu, (even if your opponent has another monster Nishipachi's effect will just switch them to defence mode). Then on your turn synchro summon "Karakuri Shogun mdl 00 "Burei"" and summon another Karakuri through Burei's effect.
