  • A great trick to end your opponent's attacks: if your opponent has two monsters on the field and one of them destroys "Newdoria", destroy the monster that didn't attack. It prevents your opponent from conducting a direct attack and it'll force them to end the Battle Phase. This also works with any other monster that allows you to destroy one monster on the field, like "Man-Eater Bug".
  • Since "Newdoria" doesn't specify a specific target, it can be a nice card for "Yubel" after ramming it into an opponent's monster.
  • Use cards like "Time Machine" with this card. This can be frustrating for the opponent, and cause them to hesitate attacking again.
  • Although this card destroys a monster when defeated in battle, this can still be stopped with cards like "Safe Zone" or "Stardust Dragon".
