- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute, using either "Kaiser Sea Horse" or "Gellenduo".
- This card is a good candidate for "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen".
- You can use this against a Counter Fairy Deck to prevent your opponent from negating your cards.
- The above strategy can also be used against a "Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord" deck.
- This card is a great Lockdown-preventer (people using Horus will despise it), but it can also be used with other lockdown cards that you control yourself, such as "Royal Decree" and "Sky Scourge Invicil"- your Spells and Traps will not be affected by them. Note that Jinzo and Spell Canceller don't work with Splendid Venus because they prevent Spells and Traps from being activated. However, the advantage of no traps/ spells will be enough to win the duel since your opponent can only summon monsters.
- You can also use this card in conjuction with DNA Surgery, with that you don't have to worry about other monsters having their ATK and DEF reduce
- "Magic Drain" is a great card use with "Splendid Venus". If your opponent discards a Spell card they would negate "Magic Drain" but "Splendid Venus" prevents negation. So whatever Spell card they activated would be negated with "Magic Drain"'s effect.
- This card stops "Stardust Dragon" and "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode" from being able to Tribute themselves against Spell and Trap cards.
- This card can prevent "Thought Ruler Archfiend" from negating Spell and Trap Cards that target Psychic-Type Monsters.
- This card is excellent along with "Light Barrier" as Splendid Venus prevents its negation even if the coin toss result is "tails".
- Since Arcana Force monsters are all Fairy Type so they don't lose ATK and DEF when this card is on the field. This help Light Barrier to stay active.
- You may use "Trade-In" with this card.
