- This card was especially designed for Ritual Monsters. It is good to equip a DARK monster with this card, use the Ritual Spell Card or "Advanced Ritual Art" and and Tribute the equipped monster to Ritual Summon a DARK Ritual Monster (Eg. "Garlandolf, King of Destruction") and equip "Sword of Dark Rites" to the Ritual Monster since the Equip Spell Card will be returned to your hand.
- Use this card to power-up monsters for "Deck Devastation Virus" and "Eradicator Epidemic Virus". Then, this card will return to your hand.
- This is also useful to deal extra damage when Tributing a monster for "Ectoplasmer" or "Catapult Turtle". Although "Ectoplasmer" deals damage based on Original ATK, it helps you keep Card Advantage, something which "Ectoplasmer" has an easy time destroying.
- This can be used with several copies of "Caius the Shadow Monarch". Simply Tribute one after the other to gain their effects, while effectively staying at 2800 ATK.
- This card may work well with the Steelswarm, since they are both Dark and focused on Tribute Summoning.
