- This card can be searched via "Tempest, Elemental Dragon of Cyclones" and "Redox, Elemental Dragon of Crags".
- This can be used to send Dragon-Type monsters to the Graveyard equip to "Cyberdark" monsters. "Hunter Dragon" can be used for this purpose and/or to be Special Summoned by this card's effect.
- Armed Changer can also be a benefit to this card, because "Vanguard" will almost always be able to destroy monsters in battle, so you can recycle Dragons from the Graveyard and power up this card even further.
- Stronger monsters such as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" can be sent to the Graveyard to be revived with this cards effect or the cards in the Structure Decks, Revival of the Great Dragon and Rise of the Dragon Lords, which focus on Special Summoning high Level Dragon-Type monsters.
- You can use this card in combination with "Red-Eyes Wyvern" to not only power up this card's attack but to set up multiple ways to special summon "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" back from the graveyard.
- You can Summon "Chthonian Emperor Dragon" with this card.
- You can send "Totem Dragon" to the Graveyard where it can later use its effect.
- Send "White Stone of Legend" to the graveyard to pay this card's cost to add a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to your hand and then send "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to the graveyard to have a 600 ATK boost plus a Normal Monster in your Graveyard for its second effect.
- This is a safer version of "Spirit Ryu" as it keeps its ATK gain, starts with higher ATK and has a possibility to Special Summon another Dragon.
- This card can work well in a "Hieratic" Deck, sending "Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord" to your Graveyard for an ATK boost, then allowing you to bring it back when it is destroyed by a card effect.
