- This card can be searched by "Worm Prince", "Reptilianne Echidna", "King of the Feral Imps", "Ogdoadic Water Lily", "Damage = Reptile", "Viper's Grudge", "Snake Whistle", "Aron, the Ogdoadic King", "Reptia Egg", "Reptilianne Melusine", "Dark Alligator", "Subterror Succession", "Tindangle Jhrelth", "Subterror Behemoth Fiendess", "Prediction Princess Coinorma", "Prediction Princess Tarotreith", "Spirit of the Fall Wind", "Animadorned Archosaur", "Lyna the Light Charmer, Lustrous", "Shadow's Light", "Shining Angel", "Photon Veil", "Chaos Zone", "Summoner Monk", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", another copy of "Worm Cartaros", and other generic searchers.
- "Worm Linx" provides greater advantage over time, but "Cartaros" is good for flipping and shuttling out with "Offering to the Snake Deity" or as Tribute for "Worm King"/"Worm Queen".
- This card is the best target for mass-Setting cards like "Worm Falco" and "W Nebula Meteor". You can gain massive advantage by activating "Meteor" on your turn while this card is Set. You'll get a card when it flips face-up, another when it flips face-down, a high-Level Worm from your Deck, and possibly another monster when "Cartaros" is flipped by an attack.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Last Will".
