- The manner of this card's effect to gain ATK is similar to "Boot-Up Soldier - Dread Dynamo": neither gains ATK per any card, just if such a card exists, gaining ATK one time.
- This monster is very similar in appearance and name to "Atlantean Pikeman", and even has the same Attribute, Type, ATK, and DEF, just 1 Level higher.
- Not counting "Pikeman" (who is a Normal monster), this is the only Level 4 or lower "Atlantean" monster who does not have any effect that activates when it is sent to the Graveyard for the activation of a WATER monster's effect.
