- "Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon" is the only variation of Red-Eyes B. Dragon that does not abbreviate "Black" with "B.".
- There are two different artworks for this card, one of them resembles one of Blue-Eyes White Dragon's artworks.
- This cards ATK and DEF are exactly the same as Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.
- Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon is a Machine-Type, but Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is a Dragon-Type.
- This is one of the 2 Red-Eyes cards that are not Dragon-Type, this card is a Machine-Type while the other is Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon being a Zombie-Type.
