Counter Trap Card

Counter Trap Cards are the third variety of Trap Cards, and are the only Spell Speed 3 cards in the game. This means that the only thing that can be used against them are other Counter Trap Cards.

Solemn Judgment and Negate Attack are both Counter Trap Cards, for example.

Since Counter-Trap Cards are all Spell Speed 3 cards, Spell Speed 2 cards like Royal Decree cannot be used against them.

Counter Trap Cards can be activated in the Damage Step, even if their effect does not alter ATK/DEF.
