Duel Dragons are a group consisting mainly of Dragon-type Synchro monsters (the exception is Machine Dragon Power Tool, which is a Machine-type) shown in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Manga. They appear to have something to do with the Skeleton Knight. 3 of the Duel Dragons shown are counterparts of the Signer Dragons, hinting that they will have a similar role. They can be identified by their names being "(Adjective) Dragon and 1 or 2 words" with the first adjective and Dragon written in Kanji instead of Katakana normally used in Japanese cards.
Some of the Duel Dragons have marks that resemble the Mark of the Dragon somewhere on their bodies. Duel Dragons appear to cause their owners' personalities to become darker, as seen with Leo and the Duel Dragon the Skeleton Knight gave Sect Injuin in exchange for his service. However, Kalin Kessler appears to be immune to the influence of his Duel Dragon.
In Ride 26, Rex Goodwin mentions to Yusei that there are ten Duel Dragons in total, one of which being a Stardust Dragon counterpart.
