Event Details
Defending Decks
In addition to the player's current Deck, they also have a Defending Deck.
The Defending Deck is used when a challenge is issued from another player. At that moment, the Defending Deck is used against them in Auto-Duel mode, and requires no input from its owner. A character is also chosen to use the Defending Deck, but it cannot activate Skills.
When an opponent is chosen, it displays their Defending Deck's name, character, and one of its cards.
Dueling
The player can chose 1 opponent in the event's main screen. These opponents consist of other player's Defending Decks being used by the Auto-Duel mode, and NPC characters using event-exclusive Decks. Friends occasionally appear among these opponents, and have a distinct golden border to their icon.
The list of opponents can be refreshed by pressing the Refresh button. If a Friend is in the screen, it will still appear there after the list is refreshed.
Given the nature of the Attack / Defend system, this isn't considered a PvP event.
Intruders
After March 3, 2018, a new NPC called Intruder was added to the event. Unlike other NPCs, it is depicted as "Phantom Beast Wild-Horn", and it has a Level, similar to Legendary Duelists at the Gate, having a better Deck and better rewards as it increases. Defeating it will make the next Level available to be challenged, although it may not appear immediately.

Stamina
In order to Duel, the player must use 1 Stamina. This is automatically restored over time for a maximum of 5 Stamina, and can also be completely filled by using a Stamina Potion, or by winning Ranked Duels (1 Stamina per victory).
Dueling against Friends that appear in the event does not require Stamina.
Event Points
Event Points are accumulated by completing Duels. The amount of Points earned when defeating a player can be seen near the their icon, and is proportional to the Event Points they have so far, up to a maximum of 7000. Opponent's in your Friends list will always reward 5000 Points per victory, regardless of how many Points that friend has.
Victories achieved by the Defending Deck also earn Event Points.
Defeats while Attacking will halve the Event Points earned, but defeats while Defending give no Event Points at all.
These Points also define each player's Title.

Island Coins
In addition to Event Points, Island Coins are also awarded after finishing Duels and achieving victories with the Defending Deck. They are in the Lottery to win several kinds of prizes.
The amount of Island Coins earned is equal to 1% of the Event Points earned at that moment.

Lottery
The player can spend a multiple of 30 Island Coins (max. 300 at a time) to obtain one random reward for each 30 Tag Coins spent.
