High Tech Dragon (ハイテクドラゴン Haiteku Doragon) is a series of primarily LIGHT Attribute Dragon Type monsters used by Yuamu Ohdo (and her manga counterpart) in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime and manga, that made its debut in Deck Mod Pack: Requiem of Destruction!!.

Members[edit]

Members of the series mostly take the appearance of futuristic dragons, adorned with shiny chromatic or plastic design. They are named and themed after computing terms, primarily but not limited to terms related to methods of information transfer. Additionally, its primary boss monsters "Blue Tooth Burst Dragon" and "Red Boot Boost Dragon" are also references to two classic Dragon monsters in the franchise, "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" respectively.

Playing style[edit]

The series primarily plays a hybrid of aggro and beatdown, utilizing Dragon Type monsters (usually Normal ones or those of the LIGHT Attribute) as resources and fodders. The series' primary LIGHT boss monster "Blue Tooth Burst Dragon" has a destruction effect that has the potential to completely obliterate the opponent's monsters; however, it is hard to trigger due to specifically only affecting monsters with 1500 or lower ATK. "Lightwave Dragon" serves to made the effect more consistent, by virtually making all monsters on the opponent's field with 3000 or lower ATK legible targets for the nuke. There are also other cards in the series that can make Summoning both "Blue Tooth" and "Red Boot" easier, such as "SSD Drake" and "RB Draphone", however each of them having their own caveat that made them more situational.

Most cards that support Dragon Types in general can work well in supplementing the Deck. "Phoenix Dragon" is an ever-present Dragon support monster, enabling easy recycling of both the Deck's bosses and any other high-Level Dragon Type monsters teched in. Since the Deck would usually run a decent amount of Normal Monsters, both "Parallel Birth Gate" and "Dragonic Disorder" are good Spell/Trap tech choices. For the Monster Legend Card of choice, "Mirage Dragon" has both a synergistic Type and Attribute combination, and the ability to protect the Deck's attackers from high-impact battle Traps like "Mirror Force" and "Dark Revelation".
