- This card can be searched by "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- Use this with the effect of "Cyber Dragon", "Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight" or "The Fiend Megacyber".
- Disrupt or Shut Down "Qli", "Kaiju", "Monarch", "Steelswarm", "Hieratic", "Floowandereeze", and Ritual Summon Decks, which rely on Tributing as their main strategy.
- Be mindful that this does not restrict Xyz Summon as they can still be Special Summoned without tributing. The same applies with Synchro Summon, as they can be tributed normally but still counts as a Special Summon.
- Link Summon can also bypass this effect.

- Use this card in a Cubic Deck, as the monsters within only require being sent to the Graveyard and not Tributed. This will virtually leave your Deck immune while your opponent will be crippled.
- This card can be useful with Sinister Yorishiro if you have Level 5 or higher Fiend-type, which can still be summoned without tributing while Mask of Restrict is in effect.
- Additionally, certain cards such as Power Invader can still be Normal Summoned without the need of tributing.
