Serena? Selena?

We've all seen plenty of instances of her name being Serena (as in Serena Williams), but the subtitles for episode 41 call her Selena (as in Selena Gomez). Now, I don't speak Japanese, but I do know that Ls and Rs are often interchanged, so I would most likely get confused even if I tried to listen to it (I always watch the subbed episodes muted; the subtitles are enough for me to understand the dialogue). Could her name actually be Selena, or are we certain that it's Serena? RedDrgn (talk • contribs) 07:43, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

French dub name

Why the french dub name was changed ?

I have see the french episodes, where Selena appears and her name is Selena. The only time where she is called Céline are in the french summaries.

Sorry, I change the french name back to Céline since the English summaries spelled it as Celina. Celina and Selena/Serena are both pronounced the same way in English making it difficult which spelling is it. WinterNightmare (talk • contribs) 22:25, December 26, 2015 (UTC)

I'm french. In fact, in our version, the others characters call Serena : Selena, but Gulli (the channel which the serie is broadcast) writes Céline, in its summaries. It's a mistake and the pronunciation is clearly different. To prove it, in our Wikipedia, contributors call her : Selena, in its episodes list and presentation. However, Rin become Ring (I 'm sorry if I made some mistakes in my way of expressing myself). Again, summaries is official, since it came from a dub network, but while researching the issue there was a lot of report that it indeed pronounced Selena in French. The name Céline is official, but you can change it back to Selena, if you like though like in your edit; from 47, Céline/Selena are both mentioned, this can causes a problem. The only thing I am going to warn is that if the name Céline is shown on the official French Yu-Gi-Oh! products like booster pack, game mat or video games, etc, then Céline is official. Since you mention Rin, the summaries written her name as Rin, not Ring, again you can change it. I trust a native person over a non-native person. Celina's Betrayal

Parasite Deck

Rin and Ruri had the Parasite cards in their Decks; mixed with their regular cards. Even though Serena didn't use any of her regular cards, for consistence, I'd say we should list the Parasite cards under her regular Deck. We don't know either way. I'd usually be inclined to count it as a split, but Rin and Ruri not doing that gives me pause. I think they should be counted as part of her normal deck, just to keep it consistent like Becasita said. Her Lunalights could be in there, she might not have drawn any. Fusion Perfection (talk • contribs) 23:01, February 13, 2017 (UTC)

Noted references are a last resort when the info can not logically be put elsewhere on a page. We wouldnt' list a huge list of cards in the prose, but simply saying "the Parasite cards" suffices here. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 23:07, February 13, 2017 (UTC)

NO matter what, i don't think the Parasites should be listed in the Regular Deck, as not Everyone will actually notice it, we can't know for sure if she had them or not, as nothing was revealed in her Deck.Chadook (talk • contribs) 00:31, February 14, 2017 (UTC)
