trying to make it look like Interdimensional War Page[edit]

hi guys sorry for creating a stub article but i wanted to make this page like the Interdimensional War Page but i have a hard time with the info box i wish i can find a tutorial anyway this is page discussing events occurring in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V if you have any suggest of if this page looks useless it may be considered for Deletion Thanks Lionel (Lionel-Sama 09:01, February 4, 2015 (UTC))

Leo, I'm in. Justin Holland (talkcontribs) 04:27, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

You may want to add this, Invasion of Xyz Dimension. Justin Holland (talkcontribs) 20:35, February 13, 2015 (UTC)

Name[edit]

I don't like the current name. There isn't a better one? --XBrain130™エックスブレーン130」 10:54, February 5, 2015 (UTC)

How about the "Multi-World Duel Domination" or something? Justin Holland (talkcontribs) 04:29, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

We could call it something like "Hunting Game"; that's what Sora calls it in episode 34. RedDrgn (talkcontribs) 00:59, February 17, 2015 (UTC)

It's actually called an Interdimensional Battle in Future Fighters. Maybe Interdimensional War II? Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 01:27, February 17, 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, that's just the name I was thinking. --XBrain130™エックスブレーン130」 11:37, October 4, 2015 (UTC)
Fully support a move. No objections to "Interdimensional War II", though open to other options. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 05:28, October 6, 2015 (UTC)
As a suggestion for other options, how about "Different Dimension War?" Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 05:56, October 6, 2015 (UTC)
Personally, I think it's better if we don't give the two wars different but similar names, as that could cause confusion. --XBrain130™エックスブレーン130」 08:11, October 6, 2015 (UTC)
I'll admit that I largely came up with that based on the fact that Declan uses a "D"ifferent "D"imension deck for what seems like pretty heavy foreshadowing now. Probably best to see what other people think. before we make a decision, but it seems to be a stretch to unify the community on anything these days. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 23:57, October 9, 2015 (UTC)
I think we kind of have to give them similiar names unless we change the name of the ZEXAL event.
So if we just want to do with "Interdimensional War" for this article, perhaps moves the other to "Astral and Barian War?" Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:08, October 10, 2015 (UTC)

Hmmm...dangit, this is tough. It's difficult coming up with names that don't sound clunky when rolling them off the tongue, yet fit the situation. Me being be I still prefer my suggestion, but always open to other ideas of course, and it's not like my input is the deciding vote of course. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 00:12, October 10, 2015 (UTC)

Honestly I would just go with "Interdimensional War (ARC V)" since it has actually been called "inter-dimensional War". not like we don't already have a crapton of "XXXXX (ARC V)" pages already. though given what happened to Xyz "Interdimensional Genocide" might be more fitting.... Regardless I do not like "InterDimensional war II" as it implies there was either a first one in ARC V or implies some connection to the Zexal one, neither of which are true (at the moment anyway).
Given the Professors (apparent) Goal, "Unification Wars" would work too. if nothing else its why Fusion believes its fighting for. "Fusion War" or something noting who started it works too.
"Domination" just seems stupid to me, who the hell came up with that?
No objection to renaming the Zexal event. Personally I always called it the "Chaos War", referring to both the start of it (Astral casting out Chaos, forming the Barian world to begin with) and the many Chaos numbers/users involved in it.

If I'm listening to the translation correctly, the characters simply call it the "dimensional war" (Jigan senso, not sure if that's spelt right) rather than "Ijigen senso" (which would be Inter/Different Dimensional war. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 03:12, February 13, 2016 (UTC)

Arc Area Project[edit]

So the most recent episode names the plan to unite the dimensions the Arc Area Project. May want to delete that page and move this there? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 21:41, April 3, 2016 (UTC)

Yeah, I think that would be best. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 00:06, May 5, 2016 (UTC)
Disagree. There is no evidence that the Arc Area Project and the interdimensional war are the same thing. DrakeyC (talkcontribs) 22:16, June 4, 2016 (UTC)
Sorry, what? Unless you mean that the Arc Area Project caused the dimensional war, then they're the same thing. How on earth would they not be in another case? Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 22:28, June 4, 2016 (UTC)
Simple - the Arc Area Project is the project Leo is working on to merge the dimensions. The interdimensional war is the conflict he started. Until someone refers to the war as the Project, we should not presume they are the same. DrakeyC (talkcontribs) 00:04, June 6, 2016 (UTC)
I understand your point of view, but I'd say the war is what the Project triggered. Like, the Project is to unify all the Dimensions and that's acquired through an Interdimensional War, it's the only means for Leo. So, the war is part of the plans of the Project. Thus, the war is contained within the Arc Area Project.
And note this page is named "Interdimensional Domination" (even though it has the note "referred to colloquially as the Dimensional War"). "Interdimensional Domination" is what Leo started. And the name of what he started, his plans, is "Arc Area Project". So they are the same thing.
I think they should be merged. At least for now, this is just a part of the Project. I think this should be a section at the Arc Area Project page. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 00:34, June 6, 2016 (UTC)
Furthermore, its not even as if "Interdimensional Domination" is an official name in any capcity. Nor is Interdimensional war (its been referred to as an interdimensional war, but that does not warrant conversion to proper nouns). The entire conflict has no official name whatsoever....aside from Arc Area Project.
There is no Interdimensional Domination. There is only Leo's ambitions of fusing the dimensions....which is the Arc Area Project. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:51, June 6, 2016 (UTC)
