Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]
Battle City[edit]
- In episode 123, Seto Kaiba uses this card during the four-way Battle Royal duel between himself, Yami Yugi, Joey Wheeler, and Yami Marik. When Yugi's "Beast of Gilfer" attacks Kaiba directly, Kaiba activates this card to redirect the attack to Yami Marik's "Lord Poison" instead. Yami Marik activates "Mirror Force" in response to destroy "Beast of Gilfer", but Yugi activates "Seven Tools of the Bandit" to negate the effect of "Mirror Force" and destroy it. "Beast of Gilfer" then destroys "Lord Poison".
Grand Championship[edit]
- In episode 195, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Zigfried von Schroeder. When Zigfried's "Valkyrie Zweite" (whose ATK was 800 due to it being affected by "Fortune Chariot's" effect) attacks directly via the effect of "Fortune Chariot", Kaiba activates this card to redirect the attack to "Valkyrie Erste" instead. Zigfried then activates "Wotan's Judgment" to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.
Dawn of the Duel[edit]
- In episode 200, Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. When Bakura's "Diabound Kernel" attacks "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" (whose ATK was 1200 due to it being equipped with the "Doppelganger Token" that had the same stats and effects as "Diabound Kernel"), Kaiba activates this card to redirect the attack to "Lord of Dragons", destroying the latter instead. This activates the second effect of "Grief Tablet", inflicting 500 damage to Kaiba.
- This card also appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light[edit]
- Seto uses this card during his duel against Maximillion Pegasus. When "Toon Dark Magician Girl" attacks directly, Kaiba activates this card to redirect the attack to Pegasus's "Toon Gemini Elf", destroying the latter instead.
- Kaiba later uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. When "Magician's Valkyria" (whose ATK was 3600 due to it being equipped with "Mage Power") attacks "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", Kaiba activates this card to redirect the attack to "Peten the Dark Clown", destroying the latter instead. This activates the effect of "Deck Destruction Virus" a second time, making Yugi discard ten random cards from his Deck to the Graveyard. Seto then activates the effect of "Peten" to banish it from the Graveyard and Special Summon another "Peten the Dark Clown".
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]
