Q&A Rulings
- Q: I activate "Dragon Revival Rhapsody" while "The King of D." is face-up in my Monster Zone, targeting 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in my Graveyard. If my opponent chains "Vanity's Emptiness", what happens?
- A: In this scenario, the effect of "Dragon Revival Rhapsody" resolves while the effect of "Vanity’s Emptiness is applying. In that case, the targeted monster is not Special Summoned and remains in the Graveyard, but the part of the effect that prevents your opponent from taking damage for the rest of the turn is still applied. Also, if the effect of "Vanity's Emptiness" is already applying, "Dragon Revival Rhapsody" cannot be activated.[2]
