OCG Rulings

• The effect that Special Summons 1 Dragon Normal Monster is a Trigger Effect that activates on the field. (It does not target. Choose the Dragon Normal Monster to be Special Summoned when resolving the effect, and Special Summon it with 0 ATK/DEF.)
• This effect activates mandatorily when "Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb" destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard (= at the end of the Damage Step).
• This effect does not activate if "Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.
• The effect that Special Summons 1 "Hieratic" Normal Monster is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)
• This effect activates mandatorily if "Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb" is Tributed. It activates not only if "Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb" is Tributed by a card effect resolution, but also if it is Tributed as a cost to activate a card effect or if it is Tributed for a Tribute Summon. (It activates even during the Damage Step.)

• This effect does not target.

• Even if the card is Tributed for some cost, the effect will activate.

• Even if the card is Tributed for an effect like a Ritual Spell Card, the effect will activate.

• A monster Summoned by this effect is Summoned with its ATK and DEF treated as 0. Therefore, at the time of the successful Special Summon, the ATK and DEF is considered to be 0.

• When the effect of "Necrovalley" is applying, you cannot Special Summon a "Hieratic" Normal Monster from the Graveyard with the effect of "Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb", etc. Therefore, when the effect of "Necrovalley" is applying, you can only Special Summon a "Hieratic" Normal Monster with the effect of "Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb", etc, from the hand or Deck.
