- This card can prevent your opponent from doing much after using field destruction effects like "Judgment Dragon", "Black Rose Dragon" and others.
- This card can stop "Gladiator Beasts" from returning to the Deck.
- Since this card effect activates when it is destroyed by anything (not when is destroyed and sent to the graveyard), your opponent can activate "Nobleman of Crossout" and "Wattfox's" effect still activates.
- You can use "Wattfox" to bother your opponent when it is destroyed during your opponent's turn because after the effect of "Wattfox" resolves you can activate any destruction cards such like "Mirror Force", "Sakuretsu Armor" etc; without worrying if your opponent controls cards like "Stardust Dragon", because its effects cannot be activated for the duration of that turn.
- You can use this card to attack an opponent's attack position monster with equal or higher ATK points at the start of your Battle Phase, thus ensuring that the rest of your monsters are safe from Spells and Traps for the rest of the Battle Phase. Combine this with "Wattcine" to regain any Life Points you may have lost from this card's attack.
- This card can stop your opponent from getting the effects of monsters like "Flamvell Firedog", "Jurrac Guaiba" and "Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame".
- Using "Chain Whirlwind" after your "Wattfox" has been destroyed by your opponent's effect lets you take out multiple Spell/Trap cards without worrying about the much feared "Starlight Road".
- This card can be a useful Side Deck card against Inzektors. When destroyed by the effect of "Inzektor Hornet", "Inzektor Dragonfly" and "Inzektor Centipede" will be unable to activate their effects for the rest of the turn.
