I was playing a Jurak deck against a frog synchro deck, and he had an Ally of Justice Catastor. The next turn I got Jurak Titan on the field, which cannot be targeted by trap effects or monster card effects. I was wondering if Jurak Titan attacked Ally of Justice Catastor if Jurak Titan's attack would go through because of his effect. Or, does Ally of Justice Catastor's effect not target?
- Ally of Justice - Catastor's Trigger effect does target. So, Jurak Titan will not be destroyed. --Darth Covah (Talk | DeckZone | Binder) 17:34, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
- Ally of Justice Catastor's Trigger effect does not target. So, Jurak Titan will be destroyed. (As Ally of Justice Catastor follows the same method as Neo-Spacian Grand Mole who as per his rulings, does not target).-82.11.158.0 (talk) 23:22, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
I'm confused of Catastor's effect. If this card battles a non-DARK monster, destroy that monster without applying damage calculation. So when Catastor attacks a monster, other than dark monsters, for example Gigaplant or Tytannial, Princess of Camellias , it is destroyed immediately?
It destroys the monster with its effect at the start of the Damage Step. See Breakdown of the Battle Phase.-- HHTurtle (Talk) 06:41, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
So Catastor can destroy a monster even if it has a higher attack? Gomer123 (talk • contribs) 04:26, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

- If both monsters are face-up. Catastor will destroy the opponent's monster by its effect, regardless of how much attack the monster has. Catastor will not be destroyed as damage calculation isn't calculated. Falzar FZ (talk • contribs) 11:39, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
What if Catastor is in defense mode and is attacked by a non-dark monster, does the attacking monster will be destroyed by Catastor's effect or not? Gomer123 (talk • contribs) 11:40, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
- If you read the card, you'll notice that is has no restrictions of that kind. If both monsters are face-up at the Start of the Damage Step, the opposing monster will be destroyed. Falzar FZ (talk • contribs) 11:53, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
how about when a monster has an effect that cannot be destroyed by battle like spirit repear, does Catastor destroys the monster? Gomer123 (talk • contribs) 08:51, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
Non-DARK monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle will be destroyed by its effect. If the Non-DARK monster cannot be destroyed by effects, it will be destroyed by battle.-- HHTurtle Talk 08:58, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
Catastor attacks Stardust then Waboku is activated, Stardust will still be destroyed right?? Gomer123 (talk • contribs) 07:35, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
The effect of Ally of Justice Catastor will still activate and destroy Stardust Dragon since it has nothing to do with Waboku. However, the effect of Stardust Dragon can still negate it.-- HHTurtle Talk 07:37, October 31, 2010 (UTC)
