So I read about Qliphoths and-- wait, where are you going? You guys...!

Anyway, an almost pure Qliphoth Deck, because Qliphoths would have it no other way.

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Summoner's Art are primarily for searching Qliphoth Tool, because it's central to the strategy. Performapal Trampolynx is used primarily for bouncing Tool to get another search within the same turn, though it can also clear itself out if I want a different Pendulum in its place.

Because of the ability of Qlips to pull out several monsters in a turn, I've tried working out Beast King Barbaros in this Deck. It's functioned fine so far, with its field-wrecking effect being very helpful at cleaning out dense fields in a way Qliphoth Genome and Qliphoth Archive can't. Performapal Tiptoad's stat-swapping ability comes in handy in certain pinches, either to squeeze out more damage from a weaker stat or trump a monster that's otherwise too big - occasionally I find myself getting walled by an early Endless Decay with little way out.

Qliphoths may be a young archetype, but with its limited resources they really can accomplish loads. Many a Duel against something that isn't Bujins, including a mirror match, has ended in a victory, if not an outright curb-stomp battle. What will the near future have in store for them? --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 02:46, July 29, 2014 (UTC)

You have an extra Torrential in the Spells, but there's not much to add to this. It's a pretty basic build, but two Wiretap might not be a bad thing. --Dark Ace SP (TalkPage) 03:06, July 29, 2014 (UTC)
Ah, my bad. Wiretap seems fine in jamming the occasional D-Prison and pals whenever I attack, but there's the age-old question: What can go out to make space for it? --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 03:14, July 29, 2014 (UTC)
How often do you actually run into Endless Decay? Jet-Black Nova (talkcontribs) 03:26, July 29, 2014 (UTC)
Every now and then on YGOPro I stumble across a Pyramid Turtle that becomes a 3600+ ATK Endless Decay that starts to turn the tables on me until I deal with it. Not cool for that moment. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 08:57, July 29, 2014 (UTC)
Maybe "Skill Drain"? If you use it after you summon "Killer", it won't be affected, and it also negates the lose ATK effects. --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 03:33, July 29, 2014 (UTC)
So I was testing my own Qliphoth deck and I found a handy card to side or main if you so choose: Imperial Iron Wall. Seeing how the best way to shut Qliphoth down is by banishing, it'll be a nice answer to Bottomless or D. Prison. Jet-Black Nova (talkcontribs) 21:18, July 29, 2014 (UTC)
