Forum:Blackwing Return to Domination

Personally, I think that in the right hands, Blackwings have always been Teir 2 or higher. With a good draw, I've beaten Gadgets, Inzektors and other competetive decks in as little as two or three turns. With more support coming eventually, Blackwings will return to domination. But to the point, I'm considering taking this deck to regionals, and would like help refining it. Side deck and extra deck need the most work, but ANY suggestions are welcome. A few points to make, I change the spell and trap lineup every few days it seems like. Currently, I really favor counter-traps (as you can see). Lightning Vortex is in there only to adjust the grave for DAD, or to dump a card in for Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North's effect. Dark Eruption also can help me adjust the grave for DAD, or I can use it to reuse Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind or Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow. Also, I'm still working on getting a few cards for my extra deck (namely: Mist Wurm, Black Rose Dragon, Vylon Disigma and Leviair the Sea Dragon). That should be about it. You could take out the "X-Saber Urbellum", "Armory Arm" and "Gachi Gachi Gantetsu" and add three Rank 4 Monster Cards, they are easy to summon with "Shura", "Bora" and "Zephyros". --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 14:54, September 27, 2012 (UTC)

For said Rank 4 Xyz Monsters, I'd suggest Number 50: Blackship of Corn as an answer to opposing Gantetsus and Zenmaines, Number 16: Shock Master for a multi-coloured Cold Wave effect, and if you can find it, Evilswarm Thanatos which fits right into an all-DARK Deck. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 16:23, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
