Deck Section

  • Post your deck under your respective monster, then cross out your name in the registration area.

Phoenix Gearfried

So, the idea is basically sending Phoenix Gearfried to the grave, with future fusion, lightning vortex, etc. Why? Because it is easier to summon him while he is in the grave. Other cards you can also send to the grave are gigaplant and blazewing butterfly. Try summoning gigaplant as fast as possible, because she will summon blazewings, which in turn will summmon gearfried. To do so use lonefire blossom or send gigaplant to the grave and then "revive" it. Try saving your equip cards to gearfried(and yes, equip traps will also work), but you can also use them on evocator chevalier.

Well... that's pretty much it. Xicokiko (talkcontribs) 18:24, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8

So, here we have the usual Horus Deck. The main aim is to summon Horus LV8 as quickly as possible, be it by levelling up the traditional way, spamming Level Up!, or shortcutting one stage and Tribute Summoning LV6.

For Tribute fodder, we have things like Battle Fader to stop attacks and produce itself as the necessary single tribute for LV6, or Dandylion to generate Tokens that also absorb additional attacks.

For trumping battles, Gale and Armored Bee are vital as they have the ability to halve ATK. This means with them around, Horus LV4 can kill anything with less than 3200 ATK, and LV6 anything less than 4600. Book of Moon can take care of anything that is pesky while face-up, and Shackles of the Underworld also helps by cutting targets to 100 ATK and DEF to practically ensure victory in battle. And in case they decide to perform their own lock, Shackles still supports in providing a gradual 500 LP per turn Burn to ensure I still go somewhere.

So, once LV8 is out, what next? Perform a Spell/Trap lock by setting up Royal Decree alongside it. And just in case the opponent tries to circumvent the lock using Monster Effects, My Body as a Shield can protect from destruction effects while slipping through the lock, and Effect Veiler can outright negate any non-destructive effect which MBaaS can't.

...That... is basically it. A simple Horus LV8 Deck designed to set up a lock with it. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 10:33, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

Elemental HERO Chaos Neos

Okay, don't ask me why I picked Chaos Neos, it was a spur of the moment. So, basically, it's just using cards to SS my Monsters (all of them it seems) and using Phantom and Prisma to summon Chaos Neos. And that's about it. --Darkskylarkalexanderx (talkcontribs) 18:15, January 10, 2012 (UTC)

Black-Winged Dragon

Okay so here is my Black-Winged Dragon deck. So before I thought about my strategy for it, I need an archetype or kind of combination in which summons quick LV8 monsters like BWD. My choices were Flamvells and Dragunity. But Dragunity is better as it is very fast summoning lv8s every turn with Dux.

So now my question is how to make use of Black-Winged Dragon's effect and remembered the card Dark Snake Syndrome! Its damage doubles every turn and with Black Winged Dragon on field, i dont get affected with the card. Plus with Black-winged Dragon's effect, I can damage equal to the attack lost when I remove my counters, leading more burns! My burn cards are Dark Snake Syndrome, Curse of Darkness and Tremendous Fire. I tried using Burning Land but it destroys Dragon Ravine which is bad for Dragunities. So Curse of Darkness is good even a trap since people makes use of few traps in their decks and so alot of spells would be activated and my opponent gets 1000 per spell AND I do not get damage when I activate a spell through BWD and with those counters, I get to burn another points to my opponent. My last Burn card being used is Tremendous Fire. Yep. it deals 1000 directly and deals 500 to mine but with BWD, I get a counter so when I activate tremendous fire, I get to deal atleast 1700 with it which is alot. Now since dragunities are experts with lv8s, I chose another lv8 to aid me with my burns namely Blood Mefist! Blood Mefist is like a walking Just Desserts EVERY TURN and also deals additional damage per Set. Since Traps needs to be set and Spells are dealt using Curse of Darkness, it makes people think twice before utilizing their Spells and Traps.

Thanks and I hope you like my deck. 33royward (talkcontribs) 10:32, January 10, 2012 (UTC)

Xicokiko's Phoenix Gearfried Deck

Gadjiltron's Horus LV8 Deck

Darkskylarkalexanderx's Chaos Neos

Wow. uh all the decks were good, and some of the decks gave up advantage to summon that specific monster but I liked the Chaos Neos the best. It just had the right cards needed for it like second coin toss. Really creative and original! Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:59, January 13, 2012 (UTC)
