So I was in a tourny today made it to the semi finals with a basic GraveKeeper's deck, I get to the last person I faced and he is using dragunity cards.

So maybe I just missed something but I got one Necrovalley and didn't draw enough spell destruction to pop all his Ravines, but by turn three I had set 1 gravekeeper's guard and continued to do so for the next 5 turns with the help of gravekeeper's stele.

Each turn he used ravine to discard the card he drew and added random dragunity from deck to hand that equips a dragon from the grave, Then summoned Dragunity Arma Leyvaten. So this happens like 5 times and I can't summon cards to stop it I eventually destroyed it and he just summoned it again, and again there was no end because it can be summoned from the grave.

Well DD Crow would be a good Idea when I don't have NV out but I can't get any of them at the moment but it is a great Idea. I for one have always Gorz really situational past turn 3. I can't believe the Designers would actually make a field spell monster combo that allows constant summon of a monster for as long as you have those random dragunity's in your deck that equip from the grave of course had I been able to get necrovalley out that set up would be impossible but not everyone would run it so I just wonder why they would do this.

As for DP I niether have any nor do I know where I would get one, but it would be a great replacement for some of my other stall cards. Thanks for the help. Jesse

I remember beating Gravekeeper's with MY Dragunity deck. Watch out for Nobleman of Crossout (that's how I won game 3). Just side Chain Disappearance and use either (or both) Effect Veiler and Maxx "C". BF2 Talk Deck Guides 14:49, October 9, 2011 (UTC)

It's not my GK I need help with I won every duel other than against that deck. But the fact that his field spell allows him to add any level 4 or lower monster from his deck to his hand just by discarding a card, then any level 4 monster that that results in a dragunity monster being equipped to another monster he controls allows him to summon Dragunity Arma Leveatin (Spelling? can never remember) and equip it with brandistock every single turn no matter how many times I destroy it seems just completely unfair in my opinion it makes non-swarm decks basically useless and swarm decks that can't bring out a high power monster useless as well IMO.

The fact that Leveatin can be summoned from the graveyard is the biggest problem If someone is not running any cards the remove from play then they have basically lost, and even If they are running them if they can't draw them than they still lost. Also the guy is using at least 2 dragon masterys that I know of and he is likely to draw them with all the self mill I see with that deck so Its more likely I'm dealing with a 3100 (with brandistock it can attack twice).

On the plus I got a Brionic yesterday YAY!

Well removal of all cards will hinder my deck so I decided to add some cards that will speed my deck up (as soon as I get them that is), and hopefully it will be enough.

I'm short 10 cards but the only ones I think I'll have a problem acuiring is the magical dimensions and recruiters. Hopefully I can get Visionary out to stop his monster from dealing damage even If he spams it like none other. Once Visionary reches about 3200 (6 dead keeper's) He probably won't have anything to stop me.

Thanks for the Ideas guys, but removing it from play isn't really an option in gravekeeper's.

Exactly. You had a bum time dealing with that one monster but trust me he was the possible least of your worries. Imagine starring down two Shooting Star Dragons (seen it and pulled it off) within 1 turn. Honestly if he was running Laeveathan he should have tried the LADD loop

In the future if your strapped on cash and cant afford premo tech cards I would advise using Field Barrier. Not only will it protect your field card from nasty destruction BUT it also keeps other field cards from being played. Yeah you still gotta worry about bouncing but then its back in your hand at least. 68.41.75.225 (talk)

Easy way to counter it is just Solemn judgement or mystical space typhoon. Destory ravine which will destory his deck. my friend's deck is based off Dragunity + 5 headed dragon. Keep a mystical space typoon to destory it or just keep a solemn warning to negate his summons or use solemn judgement. Mhmm i suppose that is true, but i guess it overall is a bad match up for GK vs Drags. He should just have a lightning vortex maybe or dimensional fissure but taht may not turn out great for him. Dimensional fissure removes from play all cards taht go into the graveyard i believe. Dimensional fissure will take down most of the Dragunities deck but I am not fimilar enough with GKs. Dimensional Fissure is stopped by Necrovalley. Lightning Vortex is just plain bad and can be negated by Stardust, Magic Drain, and Dark Bribe, making it useless against Dragunities. Fissure is good if you have a deck that can handle it (Gladiators, Samurai). BF2 Talk Deck Guides 16:42, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

No Dimensional fissure isnt stopped by Necrovalley. Necrovalley makes it so that you cannot remove monsters from your graveyard. Dimensional fissure removes monsters from play BEFORE they are sent to the graveyard. Dimension fissures effect in actual words is "Any monster is sent to the graveyard, banish it instead." means that the monster doesnt actually get sent to the graveyard it is banished before then i believe. (I have a gladiator beast deck but i have dimensional fissure, but i dont find it very useful for me so i dont use it). Also his problem was taht Ravine replaced Necrovalley so this fact doesnt matter. Alphabecta (talk • contribs) 01:56, October 25, 2011 (UTC)
