ok if your opponent just ended their turn and u have a face up flip flop frog can u use its effect to flip it face down and flip it face up again?75.38.6.87 (talk) 07:14, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, you can use Flip Flop Frog's effect and flip it face-down, then manually flip it face-up on the same turn. Then after that, you can flip it face-down again with its effect and it will stay down since you are only allowed 1 manual position change per monster per turn. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 07:19, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, that logic is slightly wrong. The monsters that can flip themselves face-down have a ruling that selectively affects them. If you use Flip Flop Frog's effect to flip it face-down, you cannot use that effect again in the same turn because it says Once per turn. Because that term is used, the monster "remembers" that its effect was activated and if, in the example, you flipped Flip Flop face-down and then FLIP summoned it, it would not be able to change its battle position the normal way nor the way granted to it by its effect. - ok. although, it's not that big of a deal, I am human after all so it's natural that I will make mistakes... occasionally. (best overused excuse ever)
