Forum:New Water deck

I just made this deck and don't know how to upload it to wikia. And i'm not an English Speaker so please try to understand what I say.

This deck use 2 archtypes : Mermail and Atlantean plus Deep Sea Diva to summon Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier.

The combo starts by summoning 1 Deep Sea Diva, special summoning Atlantean Armsman, then activating Armsman effects to normal summon 1 more Diva from your hand, and the second Diva calls up Atlantean Marksman. Synchro summon Gungnir by 1 Diva, Armsman and Marksman. Plus, when using Gungnir effect, you can discard Atlantean monster to destroy more cards by their second effect. For example, you discard 1 Armsman and 1 Marksman for Gungnir effect, then you will destroy 1 face-up, 1 face-down and any 2 cards of your opponent.

But summoning Gungnir wastes 2 Diva on your hand, so the combo will need deck seaching power. Mermail will handle that. Mermail Abysspike helps search from the deck, and Mermail Abyssturge helps with recycling. In additional, they also require a discard, so we can use Atlantean monster for that to destroy some cards.( A good combination right?).

Please use the Template:Decklist available on this forum's main page at the top. It helps a lot.

I've taken time to load your cards into the decklist template, however, I had to guess on what you meant by "Atlantean Seahorsemen". You may want to click on the link for Atlantean Dragon Rider to make sure I got it right.

I also corrected your english (not a lot to correct, you do really well) and moved your original list down.

Oh, and don't begin your paragraphs with a space. The wikia will place a weird, scrollable box around your writing when you do that.

thankyou very much Kunfu-mama. About the card name you were right. I made this deck long time ago but just post it recently so i thought that card name still haven't been changed. And thanks for the tips. I hope we can talk again.

Based on my research, Mermail and Atlantean don't really work together. I did run across an interesting deck that is mostly Atlantean with one Mermail thrown in that seems to run pretty well. Here is that decklist.

From what I've read, you could try to work in Mermail - Abyssturge and/or Mermail - Megaloabyss, but I wouldn't know what to tell you to take out. Hope that helps somewhat. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 20:20, July 27, 2012 (UTC)
