This deck just about never wins. I am trying to build a deck that fits my style of play, yet can cause a lockdown on all of my opponent's effects. please help me? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 22:55, June 23, 2013 (UTC)

Your running too many single cards so its hard to get the ones you need. I would recommend picking one Lockdown (there are many just look at the article page) and than building the deck around staling, Drawing, and searching until the lock works and than put a few cards in that can win from there (or just part of the lock for the same job) and remember running three of a card is better than only running one. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 12:20, June 24, 2013 (UTC)

Are you sure I should have THREE copies of certain cards in my deck? what if my opponent had a card that could get rid of cards that have the same name? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 01:51, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

First of all, you can't get spooked by cards like Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell, those types of cards are few and far between. Plus, I think Venom is trying to say that maxing out on Level Up! will probably be very useful. However, before you pick the number of cards you want to use, you need to pick a central idea and build on that. There's absolutely no point in running both Mystic Swordsman and the Horus cards, at the same time, Ultimate Tyranno, Slifer, and Sorcerer of Dark Magic are all cards you won't really summon, and if you do it will be like in 1 out of 30 games. There's no point in wasting card slots for cards you won't really be able to summon or really use. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:09, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

Well three is not always what happens but three is better than 1 for central cards and 2 for most everything else. so maybe 3 of whatever the lockdown consists of (if allowed) and than some Staples and stall cards. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 11:36, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

OK, I'll take your ideas into consideration, but the lockdown I made up was made of s.d.m., h.b.f.d. lv8, s.s.d. with one of its sacrifices used to summon it being h.a.d. and yet equipped with m.s.a. Is that combo good? Is it too hard to use? Should I replace slifer with stardust dragon? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 15:12, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

if you want to use it because you figured it out and it worked then by all means use it but there are some Lockdowns so simple they use only two cards like The Dark Door and Scrap-Iron Scarecrow so I recommend looking around to find something you like but it is your deck and it is your choice. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 15:31, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
