Forum:Shark Ryoga Deck

Hey, this is my Ryoga-Themed Water Beatdown deck. Yes, i know i dont use some of the cards Ryoga owns like Big Jaws and Drill Barnacle. This is becuase these cards tend to be useless like Big Jaws being banished after a battle. This deck is NOT a PURE Ryoga Deck though it is based on it.

NOTE: I ONLY USE THIS DECK IN DUELING NETOWORK AS YOU MIGHT WONDER I COMBINED TCG EXCLUSIVES AND OCG CARDS.

Okay, Killer Shark is like a backup Necro Gardna though it has its ups and downs so I just placed 1. Spiked Sunfish is VERY useful as also this is also a BEATDOWN deck. It helps me easily defeat Big Attack cards especially Utopia when im battling one using Black Ray Lancer. Oyster Meister is used as a Xyz Material and when deattatched, i get a token incase of Wall :) Shark Sucker is one of the cards to help me in quick Xyz Summoning. Snowman Eater can be used as a Xyz Material and i can destroy 1 monster card with it. Spined Gillman can be used as a Xyz Material OR can also be a beatstick. This is also a beatdown deck so i can increase a lot of monsters attack with just this one card + the Field Spell Umiiruka & Mage Power = ULTIMATE BEATDOWN. Tour Guide is also one of the Quick Xyz Summoning, and its combo with sangan lets me search for Shark Sucker or another tour guide for another XYz Summoning next turn. Sangan -> Tour Guide.

Spells are well, i have staples like Trunade, Reborn, MST. Mage Power, Umiiruka & Shrink helps me with my beatdown strategy while Terraforming searches Umiiruka. Salvage recycles my cards like Shark Sucker & another WATER for an XYZ and Surfacing is used for recycling my monsters. Avarice at 3? YUP. Due to the quick Xyz Summoning, my grave always have alot of monsters and the draw power is what i lack in this deck so its the best choice.

Traps are all staples. Solemns & Bribe negates what my opponent plays & Prison for anti-attacks.

Extra deck, well..... Number 17: Leviathan Dragon is my ace card, its very useful in instant detatching in cards like Spiked Sunfish & Sangan for +500 attack. Black Ray Lancer helps me get rid of my opponents utopia's effect. Aero Shark is just for back up for Killer Shark or when i ran out of Rank 3 monsters. Leviair's effect can be very useful and can be used for Killer Frileld Shark. Brilli-Ant gives 300 attack boost to every monster present on my field, perfect for my beatdown deck. Terror-Byte is just a back up defense and i can take control of my opponents monster. The rank 4 cards in there are just for back up when i Reborn a monster from opponent & leviair's/terror-byte's eff.

If you don't mind the impurity, drop 2 "Spiked Sunfish" for "Debris Dragon" ("Debris" + "Snowman Eater" = "Gungnir, Dragon of the Ice Barrier"), or for "Deep Sea Diva" (searches "Gillman"), or for "Enemy Controller". Maybe "Fishborg", too. Not much point to "Oyster Meister" if you can't use the Tokens.
