If Shiba-Warrior Taro is face up on the field and a flip effect monster is destroyed in battle, which effect would resolve first? Essentially they both stack at the same point, if my understanding is correct, so would they chain to each other? And, if so, which would go first? Boltfox20 14:19, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

During the Damage Step, Flip Effects activate during Substep 2, monsters are destroyed by battle during Substep 4 and Flip Effects resolve during Substep 6. As you can see, they don't activate and resolve at the same time. The effect of Shiba-Warrior Taro would activate and resolve during Substep 4. See Breakdown of the Battle Phase.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 14:40, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Err, Flip Effects activate and resolve during Sub-Step 6. They "trigger" when the monster is flipped face-up.
If a monster is destroyed by battle, then "Shiba-Warrior Taro" should activate during Sub-Step 7, when the destroyed monster is sent to the Graveyard. It's similar to "Blue Thunder T-45". Thus, you first activate and resolve the Flip Effect, and afterwards "Shiba-Warrior Taro" is returned to the hand. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 20:11, June 13, 2010 (UTC)
