Legend Anthology: Academy
Legend Anthology: Academy is an event that took place in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel from June 13, 2023 through June 26, 2023.

Event details[edit]
This event uses an extensive Forbidden/Limited list that restricts players towards low-power archetypes in line with those used in the anime.
During this event, the player can earn Medals by Dueling using a Loaner Deck or their own Deck. The player earns 500 Medals when they win and 50 Medals when they lose. No Medals are earned if the player surrenders. The Loaner Decks for this event are based on the Decks used by Jaden Yuki, Chazz Princeton, Yubel, Zane Truesdale, and Tyranno Hassleberry.
Players are given rewards based on the number of Medals collected, including Field Parts, a Title, Gems, and Legacy Pack tickets.

Loaner Decks[edit]
Friendship Unite! A New HERO[edit]
A Deck based around "Armed Dragon" combined with "Elemental HERO Neos." Since many of the "Armed Dragon Thunder" monsters have effects that activate when they are sent to the Graveyard for the effect of a Dragon monster, discarding them from your hand to activate the effect of "Keeper of Dragon Magic" will enable you to add "Polymerization" cards to your hand with little cost. Fusion Summon "Armed Neos" and use your deployed "Armed Dragon" monsters and "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monsters to unleash an attack.

Chaos from the Spirit Gates[edit]
A Deck that combines "Phantasm" and "Yubel" cards. "Opening of the Spirit Gates" not only adds a "Phantasm" related monster to your hand upon activation, but also allows you to discard your hand and Special Summon a Fiend monster with 0 ATK and DEF from your Graveyard. Make sure to deploy powerful monsters by Special Summoning "Dark Summoning Beast" and "Yubel" early in the game. When you're ready, you can Fusion Summon "Armityle the Chaos Phantasm - Phantom of Fury" with "Dimension Fusion Destruction" to inflict even greater pain on your opponent!

Alliance of Machines and Dinosaurs[edit]
A Deck centered around "Dyna Tank" that combines Machine and Dinosaur monsters. "Dyna Tank" can take over the ATK of the Dinosaur monster used as Fusion Material, so make sure to use "Super Conductor Tyranno" or other monster with high ATK to Fusion Summon. If you choose "Overtex Qoatlus" as a Fusion Material, you can use its effect to add "Double Evolution Pill" to your hand and Special Summon another Dinosaur monster. When you are ready, you can crush your opponents by using cards like "Chimeratech Rampage Dragon," which can also be useful in an offensive maneuver.
