How is this card's ATK/DEF bonus derived?

In episode 4, Weevil equips this card to "Basic Insect".

• The power boost of this card is not immediately seen after it is activated, but in the successive scenes Weevil's "Basic Insect" totals an ATK/DEF power of 2150/1410. Taking into account the 30% Field Power Bonus as well as the effect of "Level 3 Laser Cannon" (+300/+300), the math is simple:
  • "Basic Insect": 500 → 650 ATK / 700 → 910 DEF due to 30% Field Power Bonus
  • "Basic Insect": 650 → 950 ATK / 910 → 1210 DEF due to "Level 3 Laser Cannon"
  • "Basic Insect": 950 → 2150 ATK / 1210 → 1410 DEF due to this card, i.e. it must provide an increase of +1200/+200.

That's operating under the assumption that "Laser Cannon Armor" (Level 3 Laser Cannon) had the same effect in the anime as the OCG. I think it's unlikely that the Level 2 equip gives 1200/200, while the Level 3, whose name suggests it is stronger, only gave it 300/300. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:53, August 24, 2013 (UTC)

(Asking in case the anime said it is "Level 2 Power Boost") Should this page be renamed to "Power Boost LV2"? It's the only "ＬＶ" card not following that convention (Name followed by "LVn" at the end). -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:27, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

Just checked the dub. Its called "Level 2 Power Boost". I could see moving it to "LV2 Power Boost", perhaps. The episode pre-dates LV Monsters though, so I'm not even sure about that. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 03:30, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

Is there any evidence that the Japanese name used "LV"? In the manga, the Japanese name printed on "Insect Gun Armor Level 5" was "火器付機甲鎧" and it had 5 Level Stars (★★★★★), despite being a Spell Card. In dialogue, it was called "火器付機甲鎧レベル５". The anime seemed to be assigning Levels to Haga's three Equip Cards, so we can assume they should all follow the same format, in which case it should be just "パワーブースター" (Power Boost[er]) or "パワーブースターレベル２" (Power Boost[er] Level 2). -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:49, August 24, 2013 (UTC)
