Can you Special Summon the same monster that you discarded? (70.241.129.44 00:35, 23 October 2008 (UTC))

yes if it says "discard one card, special summon one zombie type monster from your graveyard" meaning you can. its just like Fossil Excavation User:Machineguy 11/22/08

So, if it was the first turn of the Duel and you had this card and Master Kyonshee in your hand also, despite having no cards in the graveyard you can use it's effect to special summon it depsite havign no other cards in your graveyard? V. Fire Daniels 05:41, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

  • No, you would need to have a monster in the graveyard already to activate te effect, but because you discard after you activate the effect, you can select your discarded monster. Dmaster (Talk Contribs Count) 05:35, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Boy or Girl[edit]

Discussion that always comes up between me and my mates and some heated arguements can get started. Is Zombie Master male or female? I first thought male, but on closer inspection, I'm really not sure. Nick R P Green 13:20, February 4, 2010 (UTC)

At first glance I would say Zombie Master is male, but we can't tell just looking at the artwork.Maybe since in other languages the word "master" is different for males and females, and it has been translated with the male "version" of the word - e.g. in italian it's "maestro"(male) and not "maestra"(female)-,I would say Zombie Master is a boy.--LightswornLord 11:53, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
That seems like a reasonable enough argument, I shall use that next time to moment arises. Thank you. Nick R P Green 13:00, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
I don't speak Spanish, but I've heard that "Mystical Elf's" Spanish name implies that it is male, although it is obviously female, so translations may not always be accurate. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:42, February 5, 2010 (UTC)

What the....?[edit]

Is it just me, or is the ghost in the bottom-left corner of the card look strangely like Millhouse from The Simpsons? SpaceGhidorah 06:34, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

[Zooming In]... no, not really. Falzar FZ 06:46, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
Well, I could've sworn I saw glasses, a flat top, and a big nose, but that's probably just the effect of the ::pixels on my eyes. Ooops.

It's "Skull Servant". -- Deltaneos (talk) 02:15, March 15, 2010 (UTC)
