Hello Everyone! I'm Dark Magic Ragnarok. Call me DM Ragna for short I guess lol. I've played Yu-Gi-Oh since I was in the 6th grade still love to play now.

I'm going to be using this page to keep track of my Deck Recipes and I'll rate on how successful they are and comment on where they need improvement. Can't get better if you don't record your mistakes lol

My Dark Magician Deck (work-in-progress)

This deck is currently untested but the strategy is to bring out Dark Magician as soon as possible. In drawing tests, It is able to bring out Dark Magician within the 3rd turn 10 out of 10 times but it is possible it was just luck. The Secret Weapon of this deck is to combo Dark Magician with Diffusion Wave-Motion and Ebon Arrow. When combined with the pressure of Dark Magician's speedy summon, and the popularity of swarming the field, this combo can become deadly, especially when equipped with Mage Power.

Test Result

This deck has problems with life points and being over powered by stronger monsters. Also, against those who use tons of destruction traps, it leaves me vulnerable. I deem this deck a failure that needs revisions.

After some thought, I think all this deck really needs is ways to prevent special summoning. Maybe a few Royal oppressions and bottomless trap holes

My Yugi Deck

This deck is a homage to Yugi and is designed to actually work. The base is to keep monsters on the field and protect them to summon Obelisk. In my tests, this deck works as I designed so far. Despite having 8 high level Monsters, this deck is able to give me the key cards I need. Kinda like Yugi's heart of the cards lol
