- This card can be Summoned from the Deck by "Summoner Monk", "Divine Wind of Mist Valley", "Soul Rope", and "Reborn Tengu".
- This card can be used in a "Mist Valley" Deck because it uses various cards that return cards to the hand and it can be Special Summoned with "Divine Wind of Mist Valley".
- Use this card with "Deep Sea Diva" to Synchro Summon two Level 6 monsters for only two cards or use "Deep Sea Diva" to Special Summon a "Spined Gillman" and tune the 3 to make "Mist Wurm" or "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier".
- Use this card with "Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi" to return a card your opponent controls to the bottom of his/her Deck and not lose any advantage.
- Use this card with "Plaguespreader Zombie" to Synchro Summon two Level 6 monsters.
- Use this card with "Glow-up Bulb" to Synchro Summon two Level 5 monsters for only two cards.
- Use this card as a Tribute to Summon a "Monarch" and Special Summon another "Reborn Tengu".
- Use this card to Synchro Summon "Black Rose Dragon" and destroy all cards plus Special Summon a "Reborn Tengu". You can follow this up with the effect of a "Glow-Up Bulb" or "Plaguespreader Zombie" to Synchro Summon a Level 5 or 6 monster and even Special Summon another "Reborn Tengu" from the deck.
- Use this card with "Enemy Controller" to take control of an opponent's monster and Special Summon another copy of this card.
- Use "Pot of Avarice", "The Transmigration Prophecy", "Pot of Benevolence", or "Garudo's Quill Pen" to return any "Reborn Tengu" that are in your Graveyard to your Deck.
- This card is a useful engine for "Scraps". For example, if you control both this card and "Scrap Beast" you can Synchro Summon "Scrap Dragon" and have fodder for its effect.
- Use with this card with "Future Visions" to gain field presence. You can also use "Dark Simorgh" to remove from play this card and other "Fortune Ladies", which couples with "Fortune's Future".
- Use with "Wattpheasant". Attack with "Reborn Tengu" then get another to attack with by attacking with "Wattpheasant" and targeting "Reborn Tengu".
- This card can also be used in a "Koa'ki Meiru" deck not only as a beater/chump blocker but it can be the maintenance cost for "Koa'ki Meiru Urnight" and "Koa'ki Meiru Crusader" and it also works with "Horn of the Phantom Beast".
- In a Plant deck, you can use "One for One" to discard "Spore" to Special Summon "Glow-Up Bulb" or vice-versa. Normal Summon this card and Synchro Summon "T.G. Hyper Librarian". Then, Special Summon "Tengu" from your Deck and Special Summon "Glow-Up Bulb" with its effect and Synchro Summon "Hyper Librarian" again and draw 1 card. Then summon another "Tengu" and Banish "Glow-Up Bulb" to Special Summon Spore, who is now Level 2, and Synchro Summon "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and draw 2 cards. Then, you have 3 cards to use for "Brionac's" effect, attack directly, and leave your opponent with 900 Life Points while setting up a "Pot of Avarice" play.
- If "Plaguespreader Zombie" is sent to the Graveyard as the cost for "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" or "Glow-Up Bulb" and revive it to Synchro Summon with it before the Battle Phase for "Red Dragon Archfiend", your opponent will have 200 Life-Points left.
- You can combine this card with "Monster Recovery" so you can Special Summon a "Reborn Tengu" and recycle your hand.
- "Chain Destruction" shuts down "Reborn Tengu".
- "Begone, Knave!" can combo beautifully with this card. If you happen to be able to direct attack, this monster will return to your hand, meaning you will be able to summon another "Reborn Tengu" from your deck. Do it again, and you will receive yet another "Reborn Tengu". This will give you hand advantage (since all removed "Reborn Tengus" will be in your hand) and two or three 1600 direct attacks in a row. If you have "Reload" you can activate it before attacking with the third "Reborn Tengu" to do more damage and get even more cards.
