- "The Wicked Dreadroot" is the strongest Fiend-Type monster in the game, alongside "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" and "Darkness Neosphere".
- "The Wicked Dreadroot" is the "Wicked God" version of the "Egyptian God" "Obelisk the Tormentor".
- In some English Yu-Gi-Oh! video games, the name is spelt "Dreadroute".
- In the Yu-Gi-Oh! R Manga the attack name of this card is "Fears Knockdown".
- In the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime, it appears in the 2nd ending of the Japanese version; WAKE UP YOUR HEART and in the 2nd opening (version two)of the Japanese version; 99%.
- Just like "Obelisk the Tormentor", this is the only Wicked God card with predetermined ATK and DEF value.
- "The Wicked Dreadroot" is based off of Bagra, a demon that has a half-skeletal, half beast-like body.
- Although The "Wicked Dreadroot" is a "Wicked God", it is not unique as it is used by Yako Tenma and Gekko Tenma (with Gekko ripping his copy of the card after his duel with Yugi Muto).
